Women always lie and manipulate men to get what they want. That's nothing new. Yes, women find any excuse they can to accuse men of something. Half of all rape allegations are false, for example. This whole we should always believe women is bs. Women can ruin a man's life by false allegations of abuse without repercussion. Women should get jail time if an abuse allegation turns out to be false.

Jonah Hill was an asshole. His ex was wrong to release the private dms. Jonah Hill isn't guilty of emotional abuse in those messages, but he was an asshole.

I never would have cared or commented on this story that I shouldn't even know about if I didn't see so many people reading the way he shamed her for her business that she had when they met and say "oh he's just communicating and being reasonable, look at how he says nice things in between mean things about her doing literally nothing even remotely wrong whatsoever."

We have no evidence that Jonah Hill is guilty of abuse, but I also don’t see anyone (at least on this sub) accusing him of that. Just pointing out his poor choice to date a surfer who models and silliness of turning around and telling her not to do those things. I never even knew about the situation until men here started trying defend his right to have “boundaries” (it was an ultimatum, not a boundary). He doesn’t have to be abusive to have his actions still not be defensible.
