Why do Childfree women bother so many men?

It goes against what they were conditioned to believe women are like. A lot of these men believed that every women has maternal instincts and that they dream of having a cute baby in their arms with a loving man by their side and that the only reason don’t want kids is because they haven’t found a good man. When they meet childfree women, the script is flipped. And it’s not a rare thing either, a decent number of women are childfree.

I think for a lot of men it fill them with dread to think about if they would even exist if their mother had the option to stay single or prevent pregnancy, because in many cultures women pretty much have to get in a relationship and get married for economic reasons and prevent wasn’t easy.

Because in the view of some men women can’t do anything right.
You can’t be a single mum but also can’t be child free. You should choose better men rather than end up in an abusive relationship… but if you react to red flags and get out the relationship you either have your standards too high or you aren’t giving the relationship a chance.

I think the real reason that many men hate women who are childfree and loud and proud about it is it is just one more thing that casts doubt in their mind as to whether women like, want, or need men as much as men like, want and need women.

Many modern men are getting the feeling that in fact, on an almost biological level, women do not want men as much as the other way around. Yes, in aggregate they need men, but not on an individual level necessarily. Many men are starting to worry that as technology slowly strips away any security or provisioning needs, the genders are not in fact that symmetrically compatible on an individual basis. We are starting to worry that most women feel that men get the better deal out of a relationship: they want the sex more, they are less attractive, men provide less and take more in relationships, etc.

It’s because a lot of men have a much harder time finding women who want to have sex, more over have kids, with them… I think a woman would have a much easier time finding a guy to have sex with her and get her pregnant, but a man would probably have to put in more work to do that… I feel some men resent the fact that women control access to sex and we are 100% in control of whether or not a child gets brought into this world or not, so some men resent child free women because ( in their mind) those women are denying these men the ability to pass along their genes to the next generation and now their bloodline is at risk… I know it sounds insane, but I’ve seen some men say some unhinged shit like that… they take it personally when a woman is child free..

I think many men are essentially brainwashed to think they are entitled to female ownership. Why do men get upset a woman chose to give her pussy to another man, five men at the same time or a large farm animal? Because deep down they believe they are entitled to that pussy. Why do men get upset if a woman chooses not to have kids or to remain single? Again ownership of that pussy. They should be able to decide what a woman does with her vagina.

If they just realized that a woman is the rightful owner of her vagina and she could choose to do with it whatever she wants, men wouldn't experience as much distress.

The only real-life man I've heard complain about this was a friend who had really hit it off with a woman, gone on a few dates with her, and then when they started talking next steps, he found out that she was not interested in kids, ever.

He wasn't mad that this was the case, more disappointed that he really liked her and they were so compatible in other ways. He ended it with her because he does want kids.

I've never heard men in general (irl) moan and whine about childfree women in general. But most of my friends are married, and I'm childfree, so maybe they wouldn't feel comfortable complaining about it to me.

I'm a woman who has kids.

I think a lot of the dislike some men who want kids have for childfree women is because if there's a sizable proportion of women who don't want kids then that means wanting kids becomes something a guy has to admit to if he is to make sure he has them. He can't just sit back and wait for wifey to want them and then reluctantly agree like he's doing her a favour and of course she will be doing all the work because those kids were what she wanted. If he sits back and weights ten years he may find himself childless and divorced and not particularly certain of finding a woman who wants him.

Basically the existence of childfree women makes it harder to set up an exploitative relationship with a woman who will have his kids for him. It puts pressure on him to initiate conversations he doesn't want to be the one to start because to start the conversation is to admit eagerness.

Some men feel threatened that women nowadays don't want to follow traditional norms, and being childfree is non-traditional, and they are scared that many women will want to be childfree, and not carry on the tradition of having children.

And because they have the attitude you have, all about their freedom etc, and no value for meaning fulfillment family connection responsibility etc. Those are things parents often do not regret having.

It's because it is a perspective of someone who is really selfish. It is also a sign of lacking emotional intelligence since most women want children above anything else in the world.

It should be in your nature to want to nurture and care for a child. So when you dont, you either dont understand yourself well, are shrt sighted, amor are just too focused on yourself.

Also, every guy has a mother who selflessly cared and loved them. So, by not wanting a mother, it likely means you don't carry these same qualities we love and respect in our own moms.

Maybe I would accept childfree women who already had children and wish to live a childfree lifestyle. Or women with a health condition that prevents them from having a baby.

But the rest of them usually act like a bunch of weirdos who think they deserve credibility and respect for their "brave" stance.

Just like how men are constantly judged based on how much money they make, women will always be judged based on whether they had children or not. I mean, its only fair.

I think if a woman spends a lot of time bringing up how she's chosen to remain childfree then there's probably some degree of self-deception going on, which might get pointed out if it becomes too...blatant. Which in turn might be interpreted by said women as "men being bothered by women not wanting kids".

That's my best guess anyway, because I've never witnessed men being bothered by women choosing to not have kids. Maybe Catholic men might have an opinion about it but that's more a religion thing than a "men" thing.

For me I’m not exactly against childlessness but I’m definitely against the insane levels of narcissism that tends to accompany it. The USA will soon rely on immigration to sustain its population entirely. That means poor people from conservative countries where the women can’t do anything but make babies have to export people to sustain our population and our economy, so a bunch of yuppie white women can pursue whatever nonsense materialistic or hedonistic goals they have vs having children and raising their own next generation.

They dont “bother me” in the sense I learn a woman is child free and get mad at her or would ever berate such a woman individually. However collectively the whole child free movement bothers me in 2 ways:

1) Society NEEDS a sustainable birth rate near replacement level to function. Do you want to be able to retire one day? Yes? In that case society needs a birth rate near replacement to let you do that.

2) Child free people are often HOSTILE to people who want kids or have kids or that don’t mind kids. They treat kids like they are a plague on society. It’s awful as kids should be our most protected class of people.

Where I live guys prefer childfree women because they want to find a free baby sitter or are looking for a step mom 🙄. Or they try to match with me since I don't want kids and they don't want more than they already have. I've asked them why they match with me and they say "oh, I don't want any more kids! So you're perfect!" 🥴. Then they get offended when I tell them that I DON'T WANT KIDS, including their kids. I don't wanna be a step mom or a mom.
