Rock climbing and bouldering. This probably depends on your region though, as not everywhere has a climb gym to get started at.

Gym I joined had many attractive, 20-something women.

Downside was they more-often-than-not seemed super intimidating as most regulars took on challenging routes while I struggled my way up the beginner level stuff.

That said, good interests/passions are Food (cooking/dining out/happy hours), travel, social events, movies/tv (chick flicks/tv work well with women), fashion, pets, hiking/biking, dancing, music.

Preferably, develop hobbies that you are interested in (passionate about), and ones that your identity is based on (food and travel are big ones) are powerful.

horseback riding. this isn't so much 'attracting' as it is more like going to the source, you're joining their social group.

not to say having a horse isn't appealing, every woman loves horses on some level, it's universal. like our friend the dolphin, women love dolphins. i've taken lessons for years being the only guy in classes. go to any barn it's 90% women. we go riding as a group, i'm the only guy and you're a novelty, they love you. especially the older bitties, they all want to give you a tour of the hay loft ;) for me to own a horse where i live is around $800 a month (board, feed, vet, farrier etc) so i lease. i'll do a full board (able to ride 7 days a week) or 1/2 board (3-4 days per week) so i been to a lot of barns and i always wondered, where the other dudes at?

you’re essentially thinking “What can I say/do to earn this girl’s validation?” and you’re already coming from a frame of having lower value than her.

When you think “What I’m saying is gold, of course she’ll love me, I’m so awesome!” you’re essentially screening her for “Is she cool enough for me to let her hang with me?” and you’re coming from a frame of having higher value than her.

Girls generally pick up on this subconsciously, because they’ve spent their lives having to learn to quickly assess “is this person being genuine/honest with me or are they trying to get something from me?”

A lot of why “Who lies more?” worked so well was because the guys learning it felt like they found the secret invincible formula, so when they approached with it they were approaching from that “This is going to blow her mind, of course she’s going to love me” frame.

Direct worked because the guys who tried it were sick of going indirect and beating around the bush and wanted to just get their intentions out in the open so they were just saying “HEY. You’re cute, I’d kick myself if I didn’t come say hi.” and expecting it to work, so it did.

When you’re out of state and feeling anti-social and just pushing yourself into sets with girls you’re not even into because you feel you “have” to because you’re out sarging, most of your sets will go shitty or not open at all, because you’re just going through the motion and even though “Hey, you’re cute, who are you?” worked the night before when you were on fire and met some super hot chick you were into, now you’re coming from a place of trying to get her validation to appease your ego and so you crash and burn with the exact same line.

Eventually you crash and burn enough that your ego goes “Fuck it, this is horrible lol it can’t possibly get any worse, let’s just fuck around instead of trying to keep our PUA Batting Average flawless!” and then you let go of your attachment to the outcome and start self-amusing and suddenly shit opens for you.

You shouldn't be going for quantity. You should think about where quality girls would go. You could get into EDM and molly and you would get a fine quantity of women or you could get into scuba and traveling and find a fine quantity of women. If women is the reason you're choosing a hobby, first choose the quality of women.

Women, like all humans, notice strength of self, presence, and the ability to create beautiful moments in time, and majestic life. The hobby doesn't matter, because any woman will do, as long as she meets your standards. Beautiful enough to inspire you, caring enough to understand, strong enough to push, smart enough to back you up. Or whatever. You have to find out you want by doing things and discovering what you don't want. Create a bitchin life (this is messy and you are doing it wrong if you don't fuck up and learn from it) and fall for every woman until you find one that really knocks your socks off.

The whole reason why a lot of guys come off "gamey" and like "pick-up artists" is because they say and do things "to attract girls" instead of doing shit they want to do, because they want to do it.

What do you do and why does it attract more females?

None of this stuff "attracts more females." Your mindset does. You can surround yourself with women you find who are attractive, like at yoga, but that doesn't necessarily mean you're doing something that will help you be better able to actually interact with them.

The real question here is: what can I do to build up a better mindset and develop the skill set for this?

Want to get better at approaching and holding up conversation? Find social circle activities that grease the wheels, warm you up to socializing, and give you practice interacting, preferably with men and women. Hash runs, couchsurfing, & the Meet-up app are good examples.
Want to get better at physical escalation? Find an activity that facilitates physical contact with women in a way that's easy and comfortable for you and them. Like partner dancing.
Want to get at telling when and how women want escalation: find an activity that requires you to attune yourself to the state of others. Like partner dancing.
Want better confidence: Find an activity that you can put work into and see results. Something that challenges you and pushes you outside of your comfort zone. Like martial arts, running, lifting, climbing, etc.
