Browsing through some of the comments, alot of it resonated with me. I dated a "RP" guy. Not a guy who learned about women via life and picked up certain masculine traits and thoughts, but the ones who have to read about it and connect their one past girlfriend to the theory and run wild with it.

I'm not exactly sure what it is, but there is definitely a specific vibe someone gives off.

  • Their masculinity becomes a shield. A constant over confidence that is unnecessary

  • An arrogance that is so cringy, it's textbook and comes off as insecure.

The more I got to know my ex, the quicker I broke things off with him. Arrogance, insecurity, shallowness, constant "shit tests", maintaining frame, coldness. I couldn't believe he was human, honestly. He took the "not showing emotion" literally and because of that, it created distance. Which is why I truly believe TRP affects what you guys call pairbonding, more than anything else.

I feel considering that many of the men that flock to TRP have socialization issues or are on the spectrum, a certain "unnatural ness" appears and it is almost as if they are following a script. It's very uncanny and strange especially compared to normal guys who have had their fair share of heartbreaks and relationships.

The difference is truly night and day. Atleast for me in my experiences. The guys I've openly discussed TRP with in my life that follow it usually repeat the same verbatim and have no original thoughts or enough linked personal experience to back it up.

The men I've spoken to who ask "wtf is that" usually end up already having some masculine traits that mirror some advice RP gives (advice men should receive anyway) are alot less dramatic and one sided. They have enough mixed traits and life experience to point out the flaws, critiques and agreements. These men have been some of the most masculine, respected men I've known yet I'm sure RP would call them Blue Pilled.

What do you guys think ?
