A lot of TRP revolves around maximizing your sex appeal 24/7, but that’s neither necessary nor realistic. Before you @ me, realize I’m addressing people who follow TRP for LTRs and marriage, and not just for trying get laid once.

I saw a thread the other day that discussed how men should never be emotionally vulnerable around women because women don’t find that sexy. Well you know what else isn’t sexy: 99% of daily life. Most work isn’t sexy. Eating isn’t sexy. I don’t get horny from watching my husband doing chores or assisting the elderly or taking care of kids. I do get more respect for him, and I admire him, but it’s not sexy. And that’s okay.

I don’t feel like having sex when my husband is crying about something, but I don’t feel like having sex when anyone is crying, and crying is part of life.

Crying, pooping, pregnancy, aging, doing chores, taking care of kids, etc are ALL normal life things and none of them are arousing - Do what are TRP going to do? Never poop? Never have kids? Never vacuum?

Conversely, there’s an abundance of sexy people and activities that are totally unrealistic and in fact unhealthy for normal life. Many villains are sexy but would make abusive partners. Rough sex is arousing but not always possible and in some cases dangerous.

TL;DR most people aren’t revolving their lives around being as bangable as possible 24/7 but some people do and they usually adhere to TRP principles. It’s exhausting, fake, and unrealistic. CMV.
