I went on a hiking date with a guy pre fds a couple years back and he made a joke about going to jail for raping and killing someone but he said it in such a way that I thought he was being serious. I remember stopping dead in my tracks and realizing that I made a huge mistake. He said he was joking (he went to jail for getting caught with drugs) but who the fuck jokes about that?!!! I literally thought I was gonna die for a few seconds there. I realized then that hiking dates are a TERRIBLE idea, and vowed to never put myself in that situation again.
