Bang maid propaganda. “He will not pay attention to you or your needs. He’s exhausted so if he snaps at you it’s because he’s tired, it’s normal to be abused by your partner if they are dealing with issues. He’s going to tell you he works too hard at his job to help around the house but don’t expect him to hire a maid or nanny to help you, your women’s work is not comparable. He’s not going to bother with a skin care routine, or even sun block, and forget him working out. He’s a successful man! 😤”

But if a woman snaps at her man she is crazy, emotional, irrational, or on her period!

That reminds me of when I was in quarantine last year. My SO (whom I’m still vetting) ordered me groceries and no-contact take out for us both and we FaceTimed while eating. This was over several days as I my quarantine lasted almost 2 weeks. If he’s not spending that hard work to make your life easier, he doesn’t care about you. If he’s not anticipating your needs, he doesn’t care about you. If he’s not your nr 1 fan/cheerleader, he doesn’t care about you.
As women we do all those things for our partners, so expecting that is the basic bare minimum.

“mostly be tired and he’ll only need to take a bath and sleep”
And borrow a woman’s body for 2.5 minutes while he gets his rocks off - if he hasn’t already done so with the sidechicks he miraculously has time for.
I know some hardworking rich (because working hard doesn’t mean making a lot of money) men with a lot of commitments, but they also manage to be partners. Maybe they’re not going clubbing every night or all the places to be seen, but they’re being romantic and helping to care for the home and family during their time off. Even when they’re tired.

When I was a pick me teenager I was dating a man in his twenties (I know, age gap) and he'd spend days without texting or not having time to see me and his excuse was work. He'd visit me sometimes and we'd just be sitting on his car (🤡🤡🤡) and then he'd leave 30 mins later. No one is 24/7 at work with no time for a simple text or to set up a proper date one a week. And if they indeed are then they have no business dating as dating takes time investment.

Same here. I've been in two HV relationships, my current one (so far, still vetting of course) and another one years ago. These men always got time for me and to take me on dates even if they had lots of work or had some days they had to work late at the office. It's about the priorities of a man. I've felt more neglected by men who barely had a job or part time job than these men with demanding careers that still put me high on their priorities and took the time to make me happy. If he's so tired all the time to be a good partner then he shouldn't be having relationships.

This !! A woman is a luxury for a man, not an entitlement like an EBT card. Currently removing a " too tired/ too busy" low wage earner parasite from my life, feels good to be free from the constant neglect :)

What they don't tell you is how fucking lazy a lot of those "hard working men" truly are.
What, you have the privilege to come home, take a hot bath and go to sleep after work? Go thank your wife for being able to.
When single me comes home from a shift that is just as long and hard as yours I still need to do my grocery shopping, cook my own dinner and clean up afterwards, run a load of laundry so I have clean clothes for the rest of the week, do other chores, run errands and schedule appointments etc. etc. etc. and I don't even have kids to take care of.
I'd love to come home to dinner already cooked, leave the mess for someone else to clean up and relax in the bathtub instead and then drag my tired ass to bed and demand some oral for "working so hard all day". Sounds dreamy to have so little to do after work.

This. And then these men will want 50/50 on the expenses because "you woman work now so you can pay bills too" and we'll work just as much or more than them, come home to do all the chores and still be expected to perform sexually and have energy for it and look good. And then they post on "dead bedrooms" subreddit and don't understand why their wife is not giving porn star performances every night for their lazy limp dicks.

If this was the real workload of the men, I'd expect them to drop dead after 10 years- just like the draft horses and cart horses of ye olden years.
[–]AnniaTFDS Disciple 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There are lots of men (specially boomers but not only those) that brag about never having taken days of or hollydays in several years. They can't even be present when their children ar born or special family events because all they do is work. There is also now this entrepeneur culture in which men work 24/7 on start ups and have these productive rituals they see online of working 12h a day and working out.
Why would we want to date these men if on top of never being available we still have to do all the chores and pay 50/50. There are no benefits in dating workaholics specially if we also work and get out own money.

He should listen to that episode on NPR about time management.
The people that are IN FACT the busiest are the people that find themselves having the most time for the things they want to do.
This guy, on the other hand, has poor time management skills and is a perfect example of IF HE WANTED TO HE WOULD.

I've said this before and I'll say it again
I absolutely LOVE it when men act like you just can't MOVE after your job. Like you did a 9-5 and you just don't have time to breathe.
I grew up in a village where I would be on the fields/building/sowing the entire freaking day and afterwards I would still chill with my friends and study like all other women my age did.
if you're a grown ass adult and you can't balance your daily life with work, you might want to reconsider dating

This sounds like an unhealthy work ethic and expecting a woman to accept the bare minimum from a man. Funny enough a man would never allow a woman who’s working hard to do the same to him. Only when it suits a man he will give his woman time, that’s not how relationships work. Just stay single.
Men like this are selfish but manage to have time to sex up a co-worker while your at home waiting on him.
