I once dated a guy who would wear the same t-shirt and pajama pants day and night for easily more than a week. When he showered he'd pile them on the floor that often had MOUSE SHIT on it and then just put them back on, often the same boxers as well.

I also hate how people play the depression card when it comes to bad hygiene. A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE DEPRESSION. I used to have absolutely terrible depression and I never in my life, not once, went a day where I didn't change my underwear. These people are just not fit for society.

I never really know what they want when they post stuff like this. I read it and don't understand. It's a story of an adult who will not perform proper hygiene. The question is to other men, asking them about their hygiene habits. What does she want them to say? Did she expect anyone to say "Oh, I do that too. It's normal". People say...look, this is kinda disgusting. Her reaction is to be mad that people called him disgusting, not to be mad that he's a filthy adult and she tolerates it and probably allows his dirty dick inside her body. Like, why aren't you angrier at your living situation instead of being angry at this?

And her conclusion is, walk on eggshells to not bruise his ego, be gentle like with a kid and coMMuNiCaTe(I feel like this has become a field level meme here). Like I really don't get how it's acceptable to her to tiptoe around a grown man and waste brainpower thinking of ways to nicely tell him he can't keep living in musty underwear and clothes. Not everyone is clean. I am always surprised when I see posts on FDS about hygiene because it’s not a male issue at all. Most of the people I know who don’t shower very often are women. You might assume they look gross but the women I know who shower once a week are beautiful and look like models. Only 1 of them seemed to have any visible issues with hygiene and I only noticed because I was her roommate but would not have otherwise. I shower 2-3 times a day depending on if I workout. I am overly clean but not everyone is and it is not a health issue for many people to shower only ONCE a week.

We should pray for her...
