So I’ve seen a lot of women and studies say that men overestimate their attractiveness by a decent amount while women are generally accurate. From my eyes, as a guy, I don’t see it very often, as 99% of the guys I talk to see themselves as mostly average or a little above(basically 5 or 6). I think that as a guy, unless you’re really hot 8+ or really ugly 2-, it’s hard to gauge your true attractiveness level. Just to keep in mind, I’m primarily talking about facial looks. I personally think that the amount of women who overestimate their attractiveness are actually pretty equal to the amount of men that do as well. And even if they do, it’s only by like a point or 2, which isn’t that significant. So to ask women on here how often have you seen guys significantly overestimate their attractiveness(more than 2 points), and what would you rate them as? Of those men, what were some of their physical features and how did you actually view them in terms of their physical attractiveness? Men can also answer this question if they please.
