When I was 5 years old, 3 older girls did this to me - except this was before cell phones existed. They shoved me around, stripped me naked, then tossed me over a fence into this kiddy pool area, by the community center it happened at. They left my clothes right on the other side of the fence, but I couldn't climb out, it scraped my feet raw, so I had to crawl underneath, between the fence and the cement, completely naked. I remember tip toeing slowly across the asphalt, even though I wanted to run to get back to my clothes - but it hurt my feet too much. I remember standing on top of my shoes for protection from the asphalt while I got my clothes back on.

After it happened, I remember knowing I'd get spanked & grounded by my mom for going outside my boundaries (the community center was a block beyond my limit) - and I knew, based on something her drunk girlfriends did to me a year prior, that it wasn't an issue when women touched boys like that. When that first incident happened, she told me her friends didn't know it would embarrass me, she told me they were just having fun, that it wasn't an issue - so I never even mentioned that 2nd incident by the community center. I also never mentioned when the older kids up the street began molesting me on a regular basis.

I think I need therapy for this shit. I'm in my mid 20s, never really talked about it, and am slowly beginning to realize how much it affected my childhood, and overall development.

I can understand the whole "I don't want to ruin these girls' futures" angle. But at the same time, the fact that nothing is being done is symptomatic of the sexist double standards that men are subjected to on a daily basis.

Although it doesn't say the girls' ages, it's clear that if it were three boys stripping and filming an 11 year old girl, they would all be in custody and likely face some serious consequences. Probably some sort of jouvey time and on a sex offender's register for several years.
