Hello queens, glad to have FDS back up and running!

So I’ve been pondering this a lot lately, considering that sadly my boyfriend is to passive for my liking.

There is a big difference between being kind, and being a passive push over , in the same way there is a difference between being assertive and aggressive. It’s my understanding that men who are “spineless” may actually be going with the flow for the purpose of manipulation, trying not to draw attention or create issues so you don’t look to deep into his behavior. He is biding his time to get more access to kitty without a struggle. And let’s not forget, when it comes to protecting you and standing up for your honor, these types will be nowhere to be found (hence the danger). These are also the types of men who have poor planning skills and or don’t make plans or moves at all, and rely on you to take the lead most of the time.

So, considering this, I’m on the edge with my boyfriend. There have been some situations that make me doubt his protector abilities, and I actually see him at rather weak now. For example, there was an incident at work, actually a few lately. (And yes ladies, I know dating your boss is bad, but my situation doesn’t make that the main issue) so I’m a receptionist in the hospitality industry, and deal with tons of scrotes. The other day my boyfriend was there, and I could see a really nasty one about to come in, and I verbalized “oh no look at that”. My BF said “oh god do you want me to check him in?” Naturally I said yes. But.. he literally was like “oh I wonder which guest he is”, while pretending to look up names, meanwhile the guy is in front waiting. I’m glancing at my bf to take the guest, but he ignores the situation! I finally had to take over. As I suspected, the guy made me uncomfortable and ended up being aggressive. Things like this have happened in various other ways. Immediately after the process I turned and asked “why did you do that?” He acted stupid until I directly mentioned that I know he deliberately did that so that I had to check him in. The look in his eyes told me everything, he knew what he was doing. Like I said, he’s done this in other ways, is poor at planning, and leaves me high and dry when he should be taking the lead.

So ladies, what do you think about the concept in general? Also curious what you all think about my situation? I love you all and appreciate this community so much ❤️.
