The plight of the modern single woman is "nobody's good enough".

Guys logically should have remorse or fear if they're hitting on women past the point of them saying not interested. Guys aren't trying to get arrested for harassment or something. Cold approaching for average or ugly guys equals possible jail time. Only the hottest guys can successfully cold approach without worrying about it. For most women you hit on in public it's an immediate no like 99.9% of the time so basically you're finding ways to slither around that initial no and still secure a number or date. That's how you get arrested, labeled a predator or lose your job once word gets out you go around harassing women in public. Men women don't find sexually attractive or are interested in that continue to hit on them is in women's eyes and most of society's eyes harassment so no one should be attempting what you're describing. The court of public opinion or even a real court will ruin your life.

I don't think hitting on people you've never seen or met before is a good strategy.

People would be more successful in general if they had places to go to consistently to build connections with other people locally.

Places to congregate with the community don't exist anymore.

Through most of human history regular and consistent community engagement was apart of all human culture.

A lack of consistent interaction and a mutual engagement human connection, whether it be platonic or romantic is unlikely.

Consistency, familiarity, and comradeship is what builds bonds. Without th at, most people aren't goi mg to make the initiative to follow through keeping in contact with someone new.
