If you take one single piece of evidence this serious, the opposite of your claim makes sense: only date women who have been at least once on tinder. If a women knows what possibilities she has there and still choses to be in a relationship that's a better sign than a women who has never been on tinder, goes into a relationship and then finds out she can abuse the thirstyness.

The causality here runs from "married women who want to have sex with other people go on tinder", not "tinder causes married women to want to have sex with other people".

Furthermore, this article describes just one person. We generally don't take anecdotal evidence as proof of anything. Do you realize how small of a sample size this is? Individuals display all sorts of unusual behaviors all the time that are not indicative of the behavior of the population at large.

The risk is too great whether she uses Tinder or not. Tinder's just a good microcosm of what society is like for women. Every woman swims in a constant sea of validation and desire from the opposite sex. And regardless of what they say they love indulging in the affirmation. One lull in your relationship or just her getting bored and she's stepping outside the relationship and spinning a hundred excuses for why it doesn't count and she still loves her partner.

Some men can outcompete most men but no man can outcompete every man 100% of the time. The only defense is not letting yourself get too deep. Date women, have fun, but never pin your happiness on their loyalty or supposed exclusive desire for you.

This just confirms that view that in the dating economy there is more supply than demand for male sexuality and more demand than supply for female sexuality.

We could also try to see if there’s a supply vs demand inequality in commitment but the supply of men looking for commitment is less than the number of men looking for sex that even if there are an equal number of men looking for commitment they get drowned out by the number of men looking for just sex.

If there 100 women and 100 men both looking for a relationship and there’s also 200 men on there looking for sex and 20 women on there just looking for sex it’s going be hard for everyone to find each other.

The only ones who will have a high success percentage would be the women looking for sex because chances are even guys looking for something serious wouldn’t mind a casual pit stop

There’s an unstated message to this story. No woman is going to want to do this if she gets the attention and validation that she desires from her partner and if he hypergamously satisfies her. Polyandry is not the female imperative. TRP says so themselves. Women have much more to fear from married men using Tinder due to the male imperative being polygyny than men have to fear from women possibly using Tinder, despite how difficult it is for a man to match using it (Although, if a female partner wants to even try using Tinder, then a guy has probably already failed). All that husband in the story had to do was lie or maybe just make it look like his marriage wasn’t working out, and he could have cheated on his wife. And, since many men naturally do like sexual variety, women have good reason to be nervous.
