Aditional information about a person can change opinions. A female friend was once interested in my cousin (who is a player) and I told her the truth: "if you just want to have fun, go for it, but if you are looking for a potential LTR, he is not the person for it". Sometimes we just know it’s not going to work out in a long term. Now I’m started seeing a guy he is attractive and we have quiet similar interests but I just don’t see us as a couple. And next time I see him I will tell him that because I don’t want to give someone hope.

Their options consist of a bunch of excusers. So they are not really options. Many women struggle finding a quality guy they like. You can't say in one breath that men have trouble getting laid and 80% are sexless but somehow women have a ton of options. There are roughly 50/50 men and women in the world so there isn't an endless supply of men for every single woman.

I think that this is an over-estimation of the number of high-quality options that the typical woman for relationships. Sure, she has many options, but not many of them are high quality. So if she’s actually looking for a guy and that guy has the qualities that she is looking for, then he’s generally going to be chosen.

With that being said, many times women aren’t looking for a guy, so that perfect guy could still fail, but that’s because she’s not looking for someone at the moment at all, which is a different reason than what you suggest about her having so many options.

The only time I’ve rejected guys I was attracted to was because I thought they were too good looking and I assumed they would have girls throwing themselves at them and would be more likely to cheat. Not because I have too many options.

Yeah-ish w/ caveats.
I was physically attracted to a fckbuddy, but not seeking a relationship as I was still getting over an ex. "Hookup only" (said in cuter way) was clearly stated on my Tinder profile. After ~3ish months of weekly sleepovers I knew that he wanted more, having sex and touching started to feel icky because I knew it was beginning to mean more to him than it did it me. Knowing how he felt and continuing to have sex would have just been using him. So we stopped but I know it was painful for him because we had become friends over time. He was a great guy. But I was NOT his person and he deserved to find another girl who would make him TEN times happier than I could have ever made him.

Additional context: My Tinder fckbuddy probably(?) made a decent income, drove a nice car, had a huge dick (vaginal sex and blowjobs were a borderline painful, but luckily I enjoy anal), was sweet and tender with me, had a nice body and worked out, too. He had a nice apartment, sweet voice, was bilingual, liked me for my body + personality. He was clean and neat, had a good relationship with his family.

But we agreed to be fuck buddies only and once I could feel he wanted more it made me feel bad and like I was taking advantage of him. He said he could handle just being fuck buddies but continued to ask for a relationship for a few weeks. I got annoyed, got emotional, felt bad (all things I didn't want from a hook-up). I also saw him as a friend and didn't want him to be continually rejected or always push down his true desires for a relationship. I began to see him as more of a buddy who was letting himself get taken advantage of and him touching me started to make me squirm. Because it felt like I was being selfish and fucking over my friend's feelings, and even worse, he was letting me.

If I could go back in time I might not have ever had sex with him at all because I know it was hard for him to get over the time that we spent together. We were "who" each other wanted/needed at a moment in time, but then the moment passed and we wanted different things.

Yeah, if a guy is attractive but we don’t share any interests at all, personality clash, we don’t seem like it will work out in the long run… he is not interesting anymore. Looks are sort of a cutoff (and it’s not as extreme as people want to think, in addition most women have a ”type” so it’s not neccesarily all will agree that these guys I like look as good as I think they do) but beyond? I’m not fully his type physically? Not interested. Doesn’t carry himself well? Not interested. So much in terms of that makes him not interested, and this subsequently not hot anymore.

I've been trying to say this, like multiple times I've gotten strong interest from girls who then turned me down for various reasons. They didn't wanna fuck on their period, or they had a bf, or they were too drunk, or another hotter guy stepped in, or whatever. I agree with your post title. People have the right to reject anybody for any reason whatsoever. I do admit knowing the reason would help the rejected one to become a better if it's possible.

I don't agree with your reasoning. I do believe that women have the advantage in casual sex and dating (that's another post on its own). It isn't something they use as a reason for rejecting guys they are attracted to and interested in. Having a lot of options simply increases the probability of finding a partner that fits one's standards.

No,if we are talking about a 10/10 guy,then i think the girl will not reject him.woman values looks as much as man if not more,so the more physically attractive a man is,the more chance he has to enter a relationship(casual or long) with the girl he wants.

by example,if you are a 6/10 guy,if you meet a girl in the bar,and she gave you her number,its true she may reject you later because she had a few of 6/10 or 7/10 options.but if you are a 9/10 or 10/10 guy,the chance she rejects you later is very rare
