Most women in the past have stopped being interested in me when I’ve told them that I was taken. The few that were interested were unethical types who didn’t care about stealing a guy away from a woman. These unethical types are probably more likely to be unethical in other ways, too, such as being willing to cheat or branch swing themselves, so I don’t think that this is a quality strategy for men if their goal is to find a loyal woman.

Not a good idea. Women who care about the opinions of other women will generally fall back on the opinions of her friends first (who are usually similar to her). So if you have an ugly girlfriend, you'll only be hurting your public image.

Wow. That is so far from my experience I can’t even comprehend it. I don’t have a clue what a man’s previous women look like, so a man’s value in no way increases for me as he gets better looking women.

The simplification of everything by RP is baffling to me. I choose men based on a mix of intelligence, personality, and how they make me feel, both physically and emotionally. As long as they have enough money to not live in their mother’s basement, I don’t even consider income. The concept that women (as a whole) put this much conniving into their dating strategies is so insulting. Maybe RP men would have better luck with women if they stopped assigning ulterior motives to everything and try to just be interesting and interested people.

This is a viable strategy, in theory. Women don't want men who can't get other women and become more attracted when they find out a man is taken.

However, having a hot partner will attract more hotties than having an ugly one. If you want to level up from an ugly starter gf, you'll need to spend a long time gradually working your way up while investing lots of time and effort on women you're not attracted to.

Just like creating a fake online persona (i.e. IG page posing with hot chicks, showing money, luxury cars, buying followers, etc.) is a viable way to attract women.

Personally I'm way too lazy and non-fake to do all of that. If I want something I'd rather take the fastest most no-BS route to get it.

This is exactly what I recommend during the plate stage of dating. Spin as many plates as you can. Keep adding higher leval plates and drop the lower leval.

What I did was meet higher leval plates on my better days give them more time and use the lower plates to get me through the week. Or booty call when the woman you want feel through.

The idea of a "starter girlfriend" is messed up, women are people with emotions, not tools to be used. I try my best to treat people the way I would want to be treated and I wouldn't want to be anyone's "starter boyfriend".

That said, I still agree with you. That's pretty much what dating is like right now anyway, nobody expects to marry their first boyfriend or girlfriend. We may cry when the other person hurts us, but most of us, men and women alike, do plan on trading up at some point. We don't think about the ramifications of one day having a different partner, because we think about it as something far off in the future. But, most of us do plan on having a different partner someday.

Your last statement is not true. There were many women in college who I had sex with who would definitely not want to be in a relationship with me. One girl in particular even told me she felt bad fucking me because she thought I was head over heels for her.

We laughed it off when she sat me down for a coffee to "express" that our relationship was purely sexual and I was like..."ok. So did you want to get out of here now then or keep talking?"

This strat might work in a sense that men have more confidence when they are sexually satisfied, and having a gf might help with that. But if you are actually confident in yourself you dont need to manipulate some poor girl into being your "monkey branch"

OP is both wrong and right.

Women generally feel more comfortable around "taken" men than perpetually single men. That's a fact that many will deny.

Men who are "taken" are presumed to be more competent and less desperate around women and that's ironically the biggest draw to them.

It also lowkey explains why women sometimes feel comfortable around gay men. Gay men never show desperation around women on account of their sexuality and they tend to have a lot of female friends which makes women naturally trust them more than many straight men.

Now, I should clarify that it's not men being "taken" alone that draws women. Many women have enough morals not to mess around with those men.

But women generally feel more comfortable respecting, trusting, befriending, and getting along with those types of men because they feel that they can put their guards down around them and not have to work to impress them. And the lack of desperation among many taken men(excluding those seeking infidelity) makes women generally like them more.

A single man still can draw plenty of women as long as he doesn't come off too desperate for any type of woman. You know how guys on here hate feeling like women "settled" for them because they couldn't get "Chad." Well, the feeling is pretty mutual.
