Do people really think if a woman wants to only have a kid at 40, she should do so and men preferring to partner with someone younger for the purposes of starting a family together are wrong?

Even if she may turn out to be totally infertile by then and they both lose on parenthood altogether. Even if she may only get pregnant after expensive medical interventions. Even if she may lose many babies before carrying one to full term? Even if the kid is more likely to be born with defects? Even if it means she most likely cannot have more than one child if she does have one?

People seem to talk about fertility like it it's still possible that's all that matters, disregarding the financial, physical and emotional toll that trying to have a kid for years would have, that losing multiple pregnancies before you carry one to term would have and that your child paying the price for your choices through birth defects would have.

Has your society become so focused on pacifying women and only women that the welfare of the child that would grow with geriatric parents is irrelevant and that of men who would rather have a family with a someone young enough to have likely healthier kids and have a bigger family is either irrelevant or considered toxic?

Is the only thing that matters agreeing with anything women say they want now and not discussing the likelihood of regret and potential consequences of their choices down the line so they make informed decisions and take responsibility for them?
