Any guy who has dated a bit knows that when you don't pay, there's a chance that the girl you're on a date with will lose interest and you probably won't see her again (unless you promise to pay). This means that the payment is the primary reason she's interested, and you as the guy come second (if you're lucky). If this weren't the case, most women wouldn't mind paying for their own food on a date, but some women are so entitled that when you let them pay, they see it as an insult.

Women think if a guy pays its because he's a gentleman who is willing to spend money on them because they are so great to be around, but the reality is it's a way of increasing his chances of getting laid, or getting another date. It's basically a transaction; he pays, and she gives him her time.

The irony is that the girls who are this entitled don't actually have anything to offer, besides what the guy is potentially paying for (sex). And by wanting to be paid indirectly for their time (through the guy paying for dates), they're actually turning themselves into cheap commodities that can be bought.
