It's always been in the water IMO via hypergamy. Obviously, not all women act on it. But feminism, only fans, 'boss' girls' (aka I don't need a man), social media, her single 'friends', women making more $$, and FOMO (among many others) don't help matters. I think some men (including myself at the tail end) also stop improving themselves as well. I stopped golf, hanging with friends, happy hours, etc. I definitely became comfortable.

My ex asked me to marry her after 5 years of dating (married 12 years). I was career focused at the gym every day, going to work happy hours, went on golf trips, got into pre med, and did not put up with her s^%$. Im back to my original self now. Many lessons learned. I'm not marrying again (in 40's also). If men do, that't all good, but you have to really find a needle in the haystack, which is getting tougher and tougher. And that needle is not some single mom with 4 kids doing spandex squat videos on dating sites. Lol. Good luck, brother.

Women initiate 75%+ of divorces, and the ones they don't I'd be willing to be more than 30% are men catching them cheating, so its reasonable to assume about 85% of divorces are initiated by women. It's not the water either, its the legal system.

Another thing driving it is once you are 20 years in (for the lower income person), there is no downside. Split the assets and get alimony for a long time. They are set. Don’t give a shit anymore.

I think the echo chamber was a huge contributing factor in mine. Almost all of her friends are divorced and a few are recently divorced and the ones I have met are miserable. I can only imagine the "you got this girl, just walk away" conversations that were had. She literally told me, "it's time for me to be selfish" and blew up our family with a 1 and 6 year old so she can be selfish and find her happiness. Unbelievable.

In general when a women's lights go off, they forget all the good and remember only the bad. There is really no use trying to repair the relationship or negotiate with them. Only way to reset is to lock them up for a couple years, which is not possible

Well believe it bucko. They have no concept of loyalty or honour. Those are male traits. For the hags, it’s all about how they feel. You can give her every piece of your body that isn’t keeping you alive, and if she’s bored, she’ll perform amazing mental gymnastics to justify dropping you and not feeling like a sack of vile shit. No fault divorce, women getting primary custody and alimony (basically anything that caters to women) was all a mistake. They never actually love us, they have no loyalty whatsoever and now they have no consequences to fear either. Marriage is ALWAYS a mistake for men. I’ve never seen a happy man that was married more than 5 years. I legitimately never saw one anywhere. And we already know what a guillotine for men divorce is.

I've read someone say that women are only loyal to their feelings, not your sacrifices. Once they get in that emotional zone they tend to make very bad myopic decisions.

Most time's it's really not the men's fault, once women meet someone they think is on a higher scale they naturally feel some sort of attraction to them. It takes only disciplined women to resist this urge and remain loyal.

I'm sure we all saw the TikTok of that woman who was with her husband through the years he supported her through school and helped her set up her business, then when it started moving she suddenly realized they had different dreams and she would not grow with him. Those are the kinds of selfish decisions that's making youths of my generation reconsider getting married into this new standard and the marriage legal system that's totally against men.

There are lots of things she can drink to feel this way. Starting with saliva from strangers.

But thing is. It's not because the chorus of her coworkers are against you. The problem is the chorus only have power if your wife let them sway her. It's one active desire to be swayed and not something about "those evil mind controllers boo hoo". Thing is, she probably found a job where there are some single people, women with affairs and people doing whatever fashion stuff. These people are always smiling and the dudes are complimenting her. She didn't protect the marriage.
Generally there is an structure in the office that is different from home. There are exceptions but the office ladies will go to drink after work to banter about how much men they have had, about how they made sex with the dude from the accounting and while some of these stories are untrue they will create a different mentality around the office. Of course the women who protects their marriages they will never go or be swayed by these women. Banter is banter and life is life. However misery loves company and some will really be swayed. They will sleep with their bosses, find an affair and end their marriages because no marriage can be compared to the banter of single ladies in their 30's, just like you cant be compared to Superman of Batman. Because reality will always be found wanting when compared to fiction that is their banter.

This is one of the reasons, I'm sure there are more and books can be written about it(and had been written).

Then she starts an affair. Some women have the notion that affairs are an illusion but most doesn't have it. They can't differentiate illusions from reality(men also have their own problems but I'm not talking about men so whatever). Then they will ask for a divorce because they want to live their new found emotions. Women are loyal to emotions so everything is about emotions. Men are loyal to institutions and reason so the man in the relationship will usually try to reason with her. But as fiction trumps reality emotions always trumps reason and that's why reasoning with them is utterly pointless.

It’s weird, my wife worked at the same place for 9 of our 13 years. I loved everyone she worked with up until 2-3 years ago. It’s a whole new crew at this point (bar/restaurant of course) and I can’t stand any of them, and they don’t like me either. Figures lol that’s when everything fell apart.

Here’s a side note: it’s been just over a year since we separated now (divorce still isn’t final) and I couldn’t be happier. As long as I spent with her, I still feel like I dodged a bullet! I have plenty of life to live, and I’m already enjoying single life.

Also, to answer your question about what makes women leave: I believe it was Einstein who said “women get with men in hopes they will change, and men get with women in hopes that they won’t. Both end up unhappy” completely paraphrased lol

Female here and I can tell you woman are sick of Working 40 hours for less pay. Working 40 hours for ungrateful family. Week after week, year after year. It’s the biggest complaint I hear other woman complain about.
