I ask this because from my experience, women do not often get along with other women. Starting from teenage years often hear the girls say "oh i just HATE (random other female classmate)"

I used to take it personally I didnt have a lot of female friends, I vented about this to another female friend and she basically confirmed and agreed with everything I said. She basically said she doesn't have many female friends either because they make her uncomfortable and insecure. And thats just being friends with them!

I just find it rather fascinating because on the whole men companionship is really easy for me, and on the whole none of men friends try to tear me down or I never feel like Im competing with them. Often times male friends are my only source of understanding and companionship, and we all just generally want each other to have a good time and be happy. But it seems to work entirely different with women being friends with other women, and its interesting women face the exact same judgement by other women that women give to men.
