I think anyone who has been outside, has some friends, has been to a club, scrolled on Instagram has seen who attractive women date.

There are 10x more 8/10 attractive women than there are 5/10 millionaire men. So most attractive women wouldn't be with millionaires based on numbers alone.

You need to look at it from the flip side. See who the 5/10 millionaires date. Its attractive women.

I lived in Southern California for 15 years and saw plenty of otherwise average-looking (often older) rich dudes both dating and married to very hot (often younger) women way out of their league looks-wise. Was there a stated contractual quid pro quo in these instances? Likely rarely. Was there an unspoken "understanding" regarding financial support? Likely often.

Even among attractive people, there's not much romance without finance.

Multimillionaires are not dating women in their league looks wise, except for those who were already married before they got rich and decided to be faithful to their wives. Most of them don’t go exclusively for looks, they care about the woman’s education and social status as well. But 5/10 rich men aren’t with 5/10 women.

And my own observations don’t agree with yours. The most attractive women I’ve known were/are with fairly ordinary looking men, not ugly but anywhere from kinda odd looking to slightly above average. Generally not rich but well-off/financially stable. Most couples are approximately looksmatched, but I think because very good looking men are often players or don’t want to be tied down to one woman, very good looking women often end up with someone who’s less attractive but has something else to offer.

A very attractive receptionist still might date an average looking UMC professional who might help finance her lifestyle. This scenario is becoming less common these days for two reasons, though. One, because women are matching men more in education and two, because a lot of low level female workers are overweight and out of shape these days and just dating out of shape working class guys because wealthy men don’t want to date these women anymore.

Still, I think that it happens sometimes so I wouldn’t say it can’t happen. It especially happens when it comes to older men dating women in poorer countries overseas.

Nah there have been multiple studies which have proven that signs of wealth and power makes you look more attractive. So you can definitely date out of your league because of it.

And lets not forget about gold diggers, because if you like it or not they do exist as well. That relation might be shallow but it is still in what you describe as dating up.

People tend to end up with their looks match from a similar socio-economic background. That’s just reality. Everyone can find outliers, but generally that’s how it works, even for rich men.

Jeff Bezos left his wife for a wealthy woman in her mid-fifties who also works out a lot like Bezos. Bills Gates left his wife for a wealthy woman in her 70s with a computer background. We can walk through the list of the most wealthy men in the world and they marry age appropriate women who are about as attractive as they are and come from the same social class. Very, very few exceptions to this. The type of man who is willing to buy a wife who doesn’t love him are egomaniacs with inferiority complexes. Men who don’t feel lovable and want to impress other men from a lower class. See: Donald Trump. An example of a wealthy woman buying a gorgeous man: Jeremy Meeks and Melissa Meeks. He’s gorgeous (“hot felon”) and from the lower class; she’s average and rich.

This reality pisses off red pill types for some reason. But this has always been true. Water finds its level. Leagues are absolutely real, and when people marry out of them looks wise, typically the more attractive partner is from a lower class and has essentially been bought.

They can and do, although I don’t believe in leagues but I understand your point. I’ve seen many couples where the woman would be socially considered far more attractive than he is. It may not be common, sure, but it definitely happens and I think most people who have social lives have seen it. It’s less often that the guy is conventionally hotter, but I know women in couples like that too.

I can think of at least 5-10 couples in my own normal social circles where the woman is significantly more conventionally attractive than the man (bf or husband). A few of the men aren’t mega wealthy, just making well into the six figures, 200/300k type thing. I will agree a little because a few of these guys don’t make a higher salary at that range and win on personality. Personality goes far and is likely essential. These days most women are less likely to marry you just for money, but there’s a group for that too. I’m sure there’s minor percentage of sugar babies wouldn’t mind being wife’s up.

Edit : I’m having traumatic flashbacks of this modelesque 18 year old who interned for me years back who came to the USA from England to live with her mid-30s bf who was very….not modelesque and had a daughter from a previous relationship. They met in an online chat and were married shortly after her internship and have a baby now. I believe he’s successful financially, not a celebrity just a software engineer or businessman or something. I was kind of scared for her future, but godspeed.

Yeah I agree. I don't want to date a rich ugly/mid man. When I date men I like pretty boys and I'm happy to accept they're usually poorer. My financial expectations is no gambling/some level of future planning/no excessive debt. So someone could be rich and not meet this, or be low income and meet those criteria.

I agree people focus on outliers. Studies show the vast majority of people date their looksmatch and in the same socioeconomic status when they meet. (We aren't counting temporary SAHMs with children 5 and under.)

I had a summer fling with a girl way out of my league. Idk how but it happened lol. I met her while in line at the grocery store, asked for her socials. Things escalated quickly with the number, talking, meeting irl. She makes more money than me and looks better than me, but somehow it still all occurred.
