First off, insecurity is natural. Both men and women constantly wrestle with self-doubt and worries about their social appearance. Yet, some women seem to treat insecurity as an overly negative trait—often using it as a convenient excuse to dismiss average men.

When it comes to sex, the blame almost always falls on men. Rarely is a woman labeled "bad in bed;" instead, she’s often seen as merely bored or nervous. Meanwhile, common insults aimed at men include being "bad in bed," not lasting long, or even having a small penis.

It’s not uncommon for women to admit that their current partner isn’t the best lover they’ve ever had. If a woman has been with eight different partners, topping that experience is naturally more challenging than if she’d only been with two or three.

Given that being called "bad in bed" is one of the most damning insults for men, it’s understandable that inexperienced men might feel insecure about their place compared to her exes. Of course, there are those who take it too far—becoming obsessed or even abusive over it—but that’s another discussion entirely.

And, on a final note, isn’t it ironic that the same people who demand “communication” are often the ones who fake orgasms instead of discussing their true needs with their partner?
