Like when men say that men want "feminine" women (as they often do in the manosphere), what does that mean? Does it mean women who wear makeup? Does it mean women who wear dresses and skirts? Does it mean submissive? Something else entirely?

For example, I have long hair and wear makeup, but I'm a tomboy and play video games. Would I be be considered feminine or not? I'm not sure honestly. Are men even sure themselves? I know that it depends a lot on the person, but I'm talking in general. I've also heard a lot of men say that they like gamer girls and stuff, so it's confusing to me.

What do men mean when they say that women are too "masculine" nowadays? For instance, would you consider a woman like Madonna in her prime feminine? She had short hair and often dressed somewhat masculine. (I know that short hair is often considered masculine.) And she was always a rather ambitious and powerful woman. But she always seemed like she was pretty feminine to me.

I know that women are often vague in what they say women want in a man as well. Like when women say they like men who are confident. What does confidence mean exactly? Having a big ego? Comfortable with themselves and don't feel the need to impress anyone? Because those things can be opposites. Someone can be narcissistic and also insecure, so it's hard to say.
