Bro, particularly on dating apps, I found my prospects tripled when I turned 30. My guess is that a bunch of the girls were filtering out any guys 29 or under.

Older guys are preferred, across almost every culture, and they always have been. 30-35 year old guys is about the sweet spot for most 20-25 year old girls.

I was in a similar situation as my divorce was settled when I was 32 and I started dating again. However, I quickly realized that college aged and grad school aged women were no longer relatable on multiple levels. They had no financial security, minimal emotional security, odd outlooks and entitlement based upon their perceived worth at the moment, etc.

Late 20s might be a better compromise. Women start to grow up a bit when they're in the work force for several years and their parents stop paying for everything. They're starting to be more responsible, party less, wake up early, etc. Anyone under 25 has been a total no-go for me but I went on some nice dates with women in the 26-27 year old range. My current girlfriend is 31 and a keeper (I'm 34)

Try to audit your headspace and see what factors are important to you from a date beyond the physical and looks. You'll be spending most of your time building a journey and not just getting laid. Keep that in mind. Ask good questions, look for red flags, and get a good idea of where these women are in life. You don't want to be her babysitter or disciplinarian to a brat who doesn't understand how the world operates.

He never lied, he would play the "how old do you think i am" game when it got brought up, was super casual about it and then would say his age and girls would go crazy.

From my anecdotal experience, I think women aged 25-31 are essentially the unicorns of the dating market. They're either already taken or are still "Chad chasing" since they're still close to their physical peak.

Seemingly way more single women aged 18-24 but these ones very rarely date guys over 30. That leaves the 32-38 bracket which is very high volume of single, childless women, but they have substantially more trauma/baggage than women in their twenties.

I'm 47, but last year I dated women in the 20-35 age range. However, it looks like as more time passes, I prefer more mature women, like those between 35 - 40, because we have more in common to talk about but a woman in her 20s will tell me about singers I've never heard of and also requires too much energy. They're still good for a ONS when there isn't much talking and things move fast.

I’m 41 and I’m seeing girls between 18-25. I wouldn’t call it dating but they want to have fun and so do I. I’m sure some have already said this but being in decent shape, mature, and consistent puts you way ahead of most of the competition. I’m just a cool guy that knows how to make people feel good about themselves and young girls just come to me.

In person, by the time they ask how old you are you’re already in. When you get good, beat her to it and ask her how old she is as soon as you can tell she’s interested. Women do it to qualify men. You can do it first to get her chasing.

Dating apps are a little trickier because a) women are less open-minded when making conscious decisions about se than they are when in the moment (they choose an “ideal” age range vs what they’d actually go for) and b) younger women especially might not even edit the default age range on apps because they get plenty of matches from the start.

Depends what you are looking for though-if you are wanting a deep/serious relationship… you are probably more likely to find it in someone closer to your age, but at 32 I’d say anything 25+ is close to your age. And it isn’t impossible to find something deep and meaningful with someone a lot younger than you-just less likely.
