The world has changed and continues to change. Being an SAHM used to be a good thing when marriage was still forever. But now that divorce is a bigger thing- the risks outweigh the benefits.

Men don’t want to support women anymore. Look at how they talk about alimony! They think that SAHMs should go out there and get a job in a day. Not how that works. There’s also the notion that all SAHMs do is watch telly all day and eat bon bons while occasionally doing a chore. It doesn’t help that men usually have no idea how much work kids are.

The other thing is, that men aren’t exactly faithful as they get older. Look at how they fetishize youth. Their wife who has had a couple kids will never measure up to young 20 year old and apparently some men do not care how much she has put into the relationship, their dick is the most important thing. Being dependent on someone who is such a flight risk isn’t a good decision.

For these reasons, I think being an SAHM is a terrible decision.

Tl;dr: Don’t be an SAHM because getting back into the market is hard, the role isn’t appreciated and these hoes aren’t loyal.
