I’ve been lurking in The Red Pill for a few months now, and it doesn’t seem like a very bad thing, for the most part. It’s true: women prefer non-losers. And it’s true: it’s fairly easy for most men to be a non-loser.

The component that seems to be missing – maybe on purpose – is a character component. A woman doesn’t just want a man who *can* provide, she wants a man who *will* -- a good guy who isn’t going to blithely use her for sex, babies, arm candy, and domestic labor. As alphas go, most women would prefer a benevolent gorilla to a self-absorbed chimp.

Sadly, I see a lot of guys posting that they’ve gone from a 3 to a 7 and are drowning in women but complaining that all women are shallow and bitchy and just “riding the cock carousel” etc etc. This doesn’t describe any of the women I run with, and I feel like I’m eavesdropping on a parallel universe. I suspect these poor guys are attracting this kind of women because they themselves are only superficially attractive: they look good, they have an income, but they’re still assholes.

I hope this is just a stage in the red pill journey, and the misogyny is temporary, and they eventually find better women. Can anyone confirm?
