Okay so firstly it's not a post defending mainstream feminism or saying that you shouldn't flirt or express interest in the workplace or in the street.

My point is, that if you are that terrified of flirting with women, either you are under-estimating how creepy you are or you are overestimating how much backlash you'll get from an innocent flirt.

Okay, some media or feminist are clearly exagerating and calling anything sexual harrassment (one wink, inviting to a drink once, saying "you have a nice dress" or "you look beautiful") even when it's just some fuzzy flirting.

But honestly, without the proof of the contrary (that's where the CMV is), all of this is just online fussy rants but in real life you won't have any problem if behaving normally (ie. not actually harassing anyone, you tried one time to tell your coworker she's sexy beautiful (had to edit so people don't overfocus on a random example) and she reacted negatively, you stop there and don't bother her unnecessarely). You wink at a girl, either she's receptive, or you'll know right away that she's uncomfortable and just backing off and not flirting anymore is more than enough to avoid problems.

Okay, many media push the idea that male sexuality is toxic or predatory, but honestly it sounds pretty fragile to be affected by this to the point of not daring to flirt with anyone in the street or workplace anymore if you're interested. When interacting with women it gets quickly obvious that "manly behaviors" and daring to flirt is rewarded by most women, and being that much afraid of feminism is far fetched to me, as if men were being punished or shamed for being sexual beings, outside of the media-feminist world there's no problem with being flirty and seductive.
