100%. À HV ex of mine and I—whom I was with for many years when we were younger—realized that if we had been born a few decades earlier, we would have probably gotten married and divorced. Pretty happy to not have to deal with that mess.

When I was in high school, my mum took me to a fortune teller for a palm reading. He said some general stuff about prospects and the future, but also that I'll be married 3 times. 10 years passed, still haven't started on them marriages, maybe I need to hurry up :D

I hope I don't freak some of you out but I am late middle-aged and have never married. Most of this was due to trauma recovery and not being available for it. Maybe I knew deep inside that my picker was broken. I also had a goal of changing a man and trying to make him fit what I wanted (so, so wrong) so those relationships didn't work out. Maybe I don't really want to compromise all that much.

I'm pretty happy now and financially stable but I still would like a relationship. I own my own home and car, and can decorate how I want! I wish cultures would normalize being single, and even celebrate it. There's so much stigma.

I’ve been divorced twice. First ex-husband because we were young and dumb, but loved each other a lot. We decided to part ways.

Second ex-husband was a cheater. So I left. First ex-husband tried to get back together with me, but I wasn’t interested at that moment. I was newly divorced. I was pretty much done with men at that point.

I’m engaged now to my soon to be 3rd husband 🤪
