I'm a recovering pickmeisha. The guy I just broke up with did not tell me once that I was attractive, and never complimented me. He only stated that "gravity was not nice to your breasts". I said that it was hurtful to me and he got MAD - he thought he could be honest with me in our relationship. To compliment me was "sugar coating" and "fluffing" my ego, according to him. To me, they’re mentioning sexual abuse casually and comfortably.

I was talking to a guy about how I believe prostitution should be legal. He straight up agreed with me, but only as long as sex workers were still “stigmatized”. That was his word. This genuinely unnerved me. Sexual harassment IS ALREADY NORMALIZED!!! Victims know that it's an uphill battle just to report it, and damn near impossible to have the perpetrator punished without some SERIOUSLY hard evidence. People in general barely blink when they see it happening. Women are resigned to sexual harassment at work, on the streets, or in any place that's not a female exclusive somehow. Most rapes go unreported because the survivors know that the justice system is heavily skewed by the patriarchy to treat rape as nbd. Men already feel entitled to harass and rape and still somehow feel like heroes and winners in their own heads.

WTF does this scrote even mean?!?! That he wants sexual harassment to be normalized EVEN MORE than it already is?!? Like does he want men attacking and raping women with complete impunity in the public streets in broad daylight with no fear of shame or consequence?!?
