I've lived through some horrible pain from a really bad injury that I had so I am no stranger to physical suffering, especially on a long-term basis. There is nothing like rectal tearing. Every time I say that teenagers have no business having sex, I get accused of being a religious prude. If it's not that, they say it is gonna happen anyway. The thing that really pisses me off about talking about the damage pornography does to society and men, is that the rebuttal is always some fallacious argument about how women deserve bodily autonomy, sex workers deserve rights, sex shouldn’t be stigmatized, etc. I agree with all of those things. But it’s a bad faith argument to refuse to disentangle those claims from the subject of pornography. As in, “women deserve bodily autonomy so therefore pornography is immune to criticism” is a bad faith argument. All I hear is talk about sex workers and nothing about the “regular” women’s lives that pornography affects. Not the countless girls who are raped every day because some degenerate jerks it to teen porn. Not the countless women who are sexually coerced every day in their relationships out of fear they’ll be left or even hurt. Not all the girlfriends and wives who are cheated on because they wouldn’t live entirely to fulfill the fantasies of their partner. Nope, all anyone cares about are the sex workers, and that isn’t to say we shouldn’t care about sex workers. But an inclusive argument for feminism includes all women, not just the ones who have the most privilege in society because of how much they’ve confirmed to patriarchal dictates. I wouldn’t even dream of uttering a word about the negative effects of pornography on the internet (anywhere else besides here lol) because I know everyone would be up in arms about how “anti-feminist” it is. Just a quick reminder, coercing into unwanted sexual act is rape and rape is a felony. If somebody does this to you file a police report asap. I understand it's hard but not pursuing any consequences to the rapist gives them a message that this was okay and they will do it again, to you and/or someone else.

Horrifying, but good to read. On the plus side, I know young UK girls who this has not happened to, but there were attempts to coerce them. So many young girls know their own minds, too.
