Here is a prime example of women/girls being conditioned to question themselves. She know's it's bullshit, we all do. But we're worried about being "stuck up" or accused of "looking for a free meal". She possibly will put herself in danger in order to not offend someone. Or in the very least, meet a guy at a nasty gas station?? yuck, no.

Going off on a tangent here ... I've always had FDS principles at heart but they were beaten down when i ventured into OLD. Occasionally they'd come out and then i'd feel guilty of course, but my initial reaction IS the correct one ... Like when the guy who i had been messaging for a few days decided to Facetime me, from his bed, with his shirt off. You know what my first reaction was? I LAUGHED. I fucking laughed in his face because it's ridiculous that he did that and it was uncomfortable. His feelings were hurt and of course then i felt badly but ya know what? MY REACTION WAS CORRECT. You call a women from bed w/your shirt off? A woman who has giving you zero indication that she's looking for sex talk or a casual hookup? I'm supposed to cater to his feelings about that? And i'll tell you what, it was a red flag and I knew it.

But that little scrotey voice in my head said "maybe he doesn't know better and it was harmless" "don't be mean and judgmental". So I continued to chat with him for a couple days and we made a "plan" to meet on a thursday. Thursday rolls around and I message asking him what time and place he'd like to meet and right then and there ... he unmatched me. No more telling us that something seemingly small or innocent isn't a red fucking flag. We know because we've been around the block with you same clone of a scrote multiple times before.

My point is ... Women's intuition is a thing and we need to learn to trust it!

Just as an aside, I've seen comments where men talk about pretending to live somewhere and suggest a "halfway" point that's actually in their town. If your date suggests something low effort, I wouldn't be surprised if he made up a few alternative facts in order to trick you into driving to him. Just another reason never to entertain LVM.
