Shall we begin with this?

Again,y'all know how this goes.

I list out a few reasons why a phenomenon occurs or seems to occur based on theories I've heard or believe myself and you guys tell me what you believe is likely and why.

So today's topic is dead bedrooms!

I've heard a bunch of the following theories about dead bedrooms

  1. Dead bedrooms exist but it's not that bad; you're generally not hearing as much about the couples with robust sex lives because happy stories don't make it to the news
  2. Dead bedrooms happen because dissatisfaction with other facets of the relationship will cause resentment, and this resentment transfers to the bedroom
  3. Pregnancy complications are the most common cause
  4. Alternate of number 3: Pregnancy isn't the issue, but kids themselves are the biggest cockblockers on the planet
  5. The man stops putting in work to seduce her, stops taking her on dates, stops working out, etc. and this results in her losing attraction to him
  6. A lot of women weren't attracted to the men they married in the first place
  7. She stops putting in effort to look nice, starts having attitude issues, and gains weight, etc. causing him not to be able to get it up for her anymore
  8. The sex just gets boring and no one can control this
  9. Couples get too familiar and too comfortable with each other. Comfort is the opposite of excitement and familiarity kills the thrill so to speak
  10. Alternate of number 9: Living in the same house causes the "roommate mindset" to arise, causing one or the other party to become too comfortable with the idea of a glorified housemate instead of a partner/spouse
  11. Interesting theory: Low N-count women get dissatisfied because they wonder if there's better dick they missed out on. High N-count women are dissatisfied because they KNOW that there's better out there.

I know most of these have some truth to them varying between couple to couple, but what do you guys think are the biggest/most common reasons?

Personally I have no opinion here cuz of the DB couples I know, I'm not sure how they got there, and obviously never been married myself.

(The only opinion I have is that 8 isn't true, because I've heard more than enough stories of couples that still want to jump each other's bones after 10 or more years to prove that attraction can last a long time)
