Nope. I doubt their ability to guess perfectly who I'd be into. People don't generally know that themselves without interacting with the other person for at least a while first. I'd imagine it'd leave people far less happy as they'd be stuck with someone others thought they should be into, not someone they actually like. Even if it worked perfectly on that front, people like the excitement and adventure of dating, the freedom to pick for yourself, not just accepting someone else's choice and already knowing how things will go.

If the matchmaking service could scan my brain to profile my ideal partner, then do the same for potential partners to find the best match, and the service was reliable and an auditable history of 90% or more satisfied couples who had been together a couple decades, I might do it.

Also, even if the partner it picks is the perfect partner, people change over time. A common cause of divorce is that the two people just happened to change and develop in ways that were incompatible. No shame in it, it's natural, but any coupling in which you can't end it when you feel it is time will go very bad for a lot of people.

People hate dating. That much is clear. It's awful, you have to sort through a lot of folks and it rarely works out. Men especially hate being sexless.

I think you're kinda hinting at something deeper here. Women don't like sifting through tons of dudes that mostly don't give them the tingles without also having red flags and then, still, potentially getting pumped and dumped anyway.

Men hate not getting any sex. I don't think men that can relatively easily get dates and sex with multiple women hate dating -- they like dating. This would only be appealing to loser guys.
