The mod team is trying something new!

We will be going private on the 1st and 2nd of September to get through some of the modmail backlog, flairing, and to answer requests.

We’ve been getting a lot of complaints, so we’ve been mulling over some ideas on how to better manage the influx of requests in our modmail, flairing, and post queue.

A lot of the legitimate issues/requests are just getting lost among the volume of other messages so going private will be like hitting the “pause” button on new issues while we handle what we have.

This is no guarantee we will get through everyone’s requests, but it will hopefully allow us some more lead time without an influx of new requests and posts, a lot of which is just spam and complaints from men.

If this goes well, we’ll make this a monthly occurrence.
