I’m happily married, so I think I’ll stick around. I think most of the women here are great, too. There are only a few that seem to negatively generalize all men. Most only seem to be bothered by the low value ones.

Well, then may I ask a serious question? The women here don't represent majority of women out there. Fair enough, it might be the case. But then I look at other communities (both within and outside Reddit), and women there make similar statements. Okay, maybe it's just an online thing. The women out there IRL, who have enough courage to speak their heart, again speak similar things. Even actually amazing humans (no sarcasm here) can speak about viewing non-attractive men as inferior, if it comes to romantic/sexual context (though they might treat their non-attractive male friends really good).

So where is that majority of women that treat us differently? I find it statistically implausible to assume that several separate groups of women hold similar minority beliefs, while majority is completely invisible to me.

This subreddit is overall very toxic honestly, I think both the men and women here are being negatively affected and this has basically become full on gender warfare. I find it fun to watch here as a spectator but it probably has some severe psychological effects

I occasionally comment but you are right, it's best to connect with people on a personal level and not get sucked into this sex warfare generalization game unless you really want to screw up your own life

I totally agree... I use this sub and other subs like fds to remind myself of what the baseline is.

These girls are educated, not poor, smart but mostly entitled, angry, resentful, and just great examples of someone you wouldn't want to spend the rest of your life with.

The same goes with most guys here but I don't date guys so I don't care. I'm sure they are capable of being good friends.

Anyway online anonymity shows you the true unfiltered face. We don't need to be polite during purge or even otherwise. We don't need to respect or empathize. This is reality but very unrepresentative.
