Strong opinions on age gaps are one obvious way to tell if someone thinks “inside the box”. People who get upset about other peoples age gaps are no different than people who get upset about inter racial dating. They are taking their personal opinion, bias, and world view and projecting it outward to judge others.

Average people date within their own age range, give or take a few years; where women prefer men slightly older (until they themselves are over 40) and men prefer slightly younger (except when they are young and want sex with milfs). Age gaps are usually small amongst average people, typically less than 5 years.

Where you see great divergence in age gaps is usually amongst high value people. High value women (young and extremely attractive) often go for high value men (some combination of looks/money/status/charisma).

High value men can be any age and are sometimes young themselves (like a good looking young athlete), but more often than not they are slightly older men simply because it takes men more time to gain experience, mature, and achieve goals whereas women are given their power (beauty) when they are young.

The harshest critics of age gap relationships are average and below average people. Typically middle aged women and young men (both groups typically have low SMV). They are bitter and rationalize their world view as a social justice narrative where an older men is a predator and a young woman is a victim: even though the relationship is completely consensual between two adults.

Rationally speaking it makes little sense for a high value middle aged man to select a woman his own age. Let’s say you’re a high value middle aged man, and I’ll use some famous people as examples only because it’s easier to visualize.

Imagine a 40-50 year old Brad Pitt or Paul Walker or Idra Elba. Why would these men actively go out and seek a women their own age? Idra Elba is 49, women his own age would likely not be able to provide him with a family and a lineage. Idra’s wife is 16 years younger than him. Does that make him a predator? No that makes him normal.

Society wants to shame men for seeking out younger women when they are in middle age. And it obviously looks quite odd when low value middle aged men attempt to do so (unattractive, not rich). But young women reject low value men a vast majority of the time so it’s irrelevant. “Creepy old man” only applies to average and below men, not high value men in middle age like Jason Momoa who have bodies better than 99% of their youth competition.

Evolutionarily it makes no sense for a high value older man, one who’s capable of attracting young and fertile women, to choose a woman his own age and end his lineage. If nature programmed men to select infertile women, the human race would go extinct.

Society shames men because of fake social justice narratives that have run rampant over the last few decades. It’s just one more aspect of woke ideology run rampant. The truth is that the sexual marketplace is a brutally competitive market, and any adults over the legal limit have the right date any other adult regardless of the age gap.
