Just looked at the UK Trial breakdowns and the Judge was ridiculously biased.

Basically deciding that Amber’s testimony had more credibility than Johnny’s. Deciding Amber’s friends had more credibility than Johnny’s, and Amber’s phone recordings had more credibility than Johnny’s

Mainly citing Johnny’s violence is likely because drugs and alcohol and blackouts.

It seems Depp’s team were more open about the alcohol use and blackouts in the UK trial than they were in this one.

Why did Ellen Barkin change her statement from her relationship with Johnny as being romantic to being sexual.

She said that they had a platonic relationship until Johnny "flipped the switches" and turned into purely a romantic relationship, then corrected herself and stated it was purely a sexual relationship.

I think they both are awful people.

I think Johnny was looking for someone young and pretty to sort of have as a trophy and it backfired on him.

And I think Amber was looking for someone kind of emotionally weak to give her a sense of power in dealing with her insecurities.

Both bit off more than they could chew. Turns out Johnny's drug problem was much more severe than she probably thought and Amber was way more abusive than Johnny realized he could handle.

I don't really care about Johnny Depp per se. But I do like the case because it showcases how women treat men who are abused. They don't give a shit about them (unless they can blame a man for it), or say they deserved it, or say they are awful too. I've seen a lot of women here talk about how hE's AbUsIvE ToO. Yeah, and women are often abusive too and abuse is mutual. It just so happens that men can cause more damage, so the woman's abuse is pushed under the rug and disregarded. Even in this case, where the man's "abuse" wasn't worse, women still use it as a weapon against the man. It just showcases what I have noticed for a long time, women think along these lines:

Men do a bad thing
Both men and women do a bad thing
~~Women do a bad thing~~ <- this is not allowed

Most of the time, women only care about abusive women is if another woman is affected or a child is.

What's fascinating is the courtroom tactics, the use of objections and turning the microphone off to count down each other's clock, late witnesses, changing of evidence.

Last I checked Heard had 8 hours left, Depp had 18 hours - needed to counter all the new stuff from this week.

It looks like the judge will stop Heards team mid-sentance once the clock has stopped.

We should trial the use of clocks here, with Mods locking posters after a certain number of characters typed in a deba[locked]

Firstly I think Depp is a toxic jackass who blew his money and hasn't put out a good performance in a decade.

However I think Heard isn't merely narcisstic, abusive and manipulative...she's downright self destructive. This entire case has been a lesson on how to completely destroy your career. In the UK we have a slightly similar thing happening in a case dubbed "the WAGatha Christie" trial. Called so because it involves two wives of ex footballers whom one Colleen Rooney (wife of former England International and Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney) found her former friend Rebekah Vardy (wife of England International and Leicester striker, Jamie Vardy) leaking stories about her to the press. The latter then sued the former for libel. Despite Rooney insisting settling out of court, the latter insisted on litigation. Her trial has effectively served in destroying whatever career in the public eye she had. Vardy has shown herself to appear like a liar who repeatedly leaks intimate information about her friends to the press in exchange for money.

What I find incredible about both cases is the hubris shown by both women (Vardy and Heard) and I actually indicative of the wider hubris and complete loss of self awareness I'm beginning to notice among a lot of modern Western women. Sadder still is that much of this lack of self awareness is most pronounced among women who self identify as "feminists" or even smaller fringe movements like our very own "FDS". Whilst in Vardys case, she's unable to seek any of narrative refuge in being a "victim of misogyny" due to the defendant being a fellow woman, I notice Heard sympathisers clinging to this rather desperate strawman and its just fucking sad to see, sadder that there are legit women out there even buying into it.

Heard is a privileged white woman who has routinely abused other women around her. Her assistant, staff, an ex girlfriend, her own sister. I mean, Jesus, she lied about donating to the ACLU. Does it get any lower? She's nigh irredeemable, and yet, there are still women out there sad, poor self esteemed and bitter enough to buy into her rhetoric. Even more ironic is these types will then complain about men buying to YouTube personalities like Kevin Samuel's. And whilst I'm no great fan of Samuel's, at least you didn't see idiotic oped pieces seeking to make out as if he was some kind of victim. I legit think there is a worrying movement of disaffected young women gaining massive momentum out there. Like incels they're not remotely in tune with reality but, unlike incels, I'm seeing many of their toxic mindsets and beliefs being bookended by what many would consider respectable media outlets. When you literally have an abuser on video admitting their abuse and outlets and journalists painting that abuser as a victim of misogyny then you should fear a subsection of that demographic may be losing the plot.
