This post is not meant to shame women for their dating decisions, it’s simply meant to be educational for both men and women who hopefully want a more honest discussion about relationships & gender dynamics.

Prepubescent: girls want ‘cute’ boys. ie a boy with a soft, approachable face, doesn’t seem intimidating, kinda feminine, etc.

Adolescence: once boys start hitting puberty and some sexually mature much rapidly than others, many girls switch from wanting “sweet” to wanting “excitement”. whoever the most fun, coolest, best dressed, richest, most testosterone-fuelled, competitive boys are often the ones girls want to date, even if their attraction is at conflict with a terrible personality. this is why so many women talk about staying with toxic ex’s for so long, and it baffles men with good intentions who can’t understand why. it’s because the girl liked the attractive features they had so much that they were more willing to deal with bad behaviour from an exciting boyfriend than to consider a more average guy with good intentions.

Early 20’s: most girls have had their hearts broken by a few assholes by this point, largely because of their own bad dating decisions. as a result a lot of young women develop a bias against men and assume every guy has bad intentions rather than realizing they were fucking around with the wrong ones. most are also working and in college at this age, so many decide not to worry about relationships and just mostly deal with hookups, fwbs and short term romances. sometimes they might actually meet a guy they feel a “vibe” with, but get scared because of past breakups and will be afraid to commit.

Late 20’s: eventually biology takes over; we are hardwired to have kids. many women at this point find partners with a balance between material power & good intentions. if a woman had a lot of traumatic relationships, and meets a guy who’s both outwardly very sweet and has his shit together, she will tend to be more aggressive in pursuing the good guy, because in her mind based on her past dating experiences being both a successful and kind hearted guy is an anomaly. they also tend to become simps who talk about how great their husband is, because in comparison to how the rest of her partners treated her this guy may seem like a saint.

So TLDR: if you’re a young guy and want to get women in their late teens/early 20s you’ll have to be very distinguished from the average dude if you want any luck, because at this age most women don’t really care if you’re a good guy or not. most have both fulfilling friendships and access to dick at this age. eventually when they want to have babies they want their partner to both be their best friend and source of dick.

so if you’re a guy that just wants a simple life to settle down with a girl, don’t freak out. as time goes on, if you work hard your value will become apparent, and you will be the one with the power in your marriage. you become the prize. you will likely be the best combination of both conventional attractiveness and emotional sensitivity that has ever showed her interest, and you will be rewarded for it.
