It is often claimed that it is unfair or misogynistic that women get criticized for their sexual promiscuity while men face no criticism for the same acts. That isn't true. Men in general are criticized for their lack of sexual discretion. Men in general are viewed as "sluts", regardless of their actions.

You can see it in posts and comments on this sub; "Men will f**k anything", "All men want is sex", "Men cause their own problems by being too thirsty". It's an ugly and unattractive perception that society puts on men and they just have to deal with it. He has to overcome this hurdle by proving his value in non-sexual ways. He has to take his partner on dates, and do romantic gestures, and show he's serious about a relationship in ways that don't involve sex.

It doesn't matter what a man does, he is never given the privilege of being viewed as pure or innocent. That's a privilege only women receive and have the option to maintain or reject. The average male League of Legends player who has never touched a women is not seen as cute or desirable just because he hasn't been involved in sexual activity. He's always just gross because everyone assumes he has gross sexual desires. He has to provide value in other ways to be attractive.

A woman that chooses the path of promiscuity is rejecting her privilege of being viewed as innocent and pure. She's just lowering herself to the position that men naturally live at. She's approaching the level of indiscretion that is seen as gross. No one likes it. It's something you have to conceal or prove wrong.

A woman receiving criticism for being promiscuous is receiving equality. She has put her self in the same position as a man and now has to play by the same rules as a man to be attractive. She has to provide value in ways that are non-sexual in a relationship for it to work.

If you call a man a slut, he isn't going to care. He knows that is just his place in life. If a woman has done things to be called a slut, she really should just own it. She made her choice to reject her privilege and play on the same level as men.
