Dating is a battle of attrition.

It's rife with rejection people that have been dating for far too long or dating for all of the wrong reasons.

IMO, I think a lot of men are approaching dating incorrectly by seeking validation from women while dating. Dating with that goal in mind will have crazy effects on your mental health. Rejection will feel personal, getting ghosted will feel personal, dead conversations will feel personal. But, none of that shit is true. It just means that person wasn't interested in you. Constant rejection with no success might be worthy of self-reflection and potentially a change. However, rejection is usually a fully individual decision that has zero bearing on anything that you can control. It sucks. But, being able to compartmentalize rejection keeps you from becoming negative and bitter, that energy that women universally hate when a man gives it off.

The men with a glass half-full mentality and capable of shrugging at rejection are never wavered by rejection. It doesn't shake their resolve at all. These men are consistently the most successful with any romantic pursuits because it requires a shit-ton of tenacity and fortitude. Being obviously

There was a post on r/dataisbeautiful of some guy's Tinder stats. Bro had casual sex 14 times in two months. That's more most dudes complaining about not even getting matches. However, out of nearly 8k right swipes, bro only had a match rate of 10% (which actually isn't bad) and an eventual casual sex rate of 1.78% per match or 0.17% per swipe. That means that bro liked 7,148 women that didn't even bother to swipe on him. Had 322 women that he matched with but didn't bother to chat with him. 445 women he chatted with and never had a date with. And 6 women he actually met with didn't vibe with him enough to have sex with him. There's even some older posts that are even more egregious like one 5 years ago with a guy that swiped right 26,000 times and only got 110 matches.

That's a fucking insane amount of rejection.

Dating, especially on dating apps, is basically a rejection speedrun. Being tenacious enough to handle the brunt of this rejection and keep moving but improving and augmenting your seduction to perfection will only yield fruit.

I strongly believe that it's only after this milestone is achieved that other advice starts to become relevant. But, until you can actually handle rejection and shrug at it, you'll never last long enough to ever found out if you would have done well. Once you adhere to a defeatist mindset, the rejection becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. You'll expect rejection and it feeds into your own misery. This is exactly what you should be trying to avoid.

"Dating as a woman is easy"

"Only if I were more attractive or a different race"

"80% of women are only attracted to 20% of men"

My Brother In Christ, can you change it? If not, why the fuck do care about it.

Life isn't fair, it wasn't intended to be and it likely never will be.

Why not just make the most of what you were given?

I address men specifically because I'm not a woman and I have no idea what it's like to date as a woman. So, I'm not going to speak for them.
