I have never been able to empathize with the idea that money is sexually attractive

I don't get sexually aroused by the money someone makes

Looks are the primary factor in my sexual arousal, maybe 80%. The rest are personality (competency, masculinity, intelligence, humor/wit, love for animals, etc.) and things like voice/smell.

To elaborate it has to be a financial success that is big enough to make me extremely happy or excited ie: paying off my credit card debt, buying my own car, being able to spend spare money on a gift for my man, ect.

What could be arousing is the skills/competency that the person has (that resulted in them attaining the money).

Imo the most accurate answer is that it correlates to competence, which straight women on average are more attracted to than straight men are. This is the basic part that red pillers usually agree with, yes?

“Competence” can be measured in many ways and different women look for different signs of competence in the holistic sense, but wealth signals, at least from the surface level, can make others assume good things about you competence-wise without knowing much about you. Signaling wealth / competence is synonymous to signaling your “social status.”

It functions like the halo effect, in that you generally assume if someone is good at one thing, they’re probably good at other things too… Similar to how more conventionally attractive people are also more likely to make higher salaries. There is correlation.

I am not particularly into ultra-wealthy men, but it is a turn off for a man to be barely scraping by/working a minimum wage job with no aspirations.

Not at all. Back when I was on tinder I would swipe left immediately if a guy had money in any of his pictures. I actually despise money in theory, how we have to work most of our lives to make it just to spend it. Some people make it from other people's labor and hoard it. Nothing about that turns me on, I like mannerisms and actions.

If money turned women on then the vast majority of women would be too focused on building a lucrative career to pursue relationships. Also the sex toy industry wouldn't be a billion dollar industry, why would women want to trade money for toys if money turned us on? I’ve never once been turned on by a man’s money. I really admire competence, ambition & intellect and those things generally come with the ability to earn money. I always made sure to earn enough money to support myself so I didn’t have to resort to partnering with a man that I wasn’t genuinely attracted to & that I would be financially dependent upon.

Money is only important to me as a social proof for good traits to have and it'd be really important to a floor to show the man isn't just financially illiterate gambling on NFTs, or unemployed with no ambitions. But it doesn't affect whether I find him physically attractive and certainly I'd distinguish between earning said money vs being given it via nepotism.

It's definitely in males too. It's just reflected differently. A lot of men like to work hard and long because they have fam they support w that $$, and it gives them a sense of pride or they see their paycheck from all their excessive work, and that motivates them to keep going.

We see how men feel about money thru the way they flex their cars, watches, way of living, and the quality of the material things they can afford (like a super car over an average everyday car). And dudes also have the belief that their $$ has the ability to not only attract a high quantity of women, but also the hottest and most high status/values ones.

Everyone is motived by money because we live in a world where money = opportunity, we just have different ways of expressing it.
