Personally wouldn’t stand for it in my life but I know a ton of men who love it. I think a lot of men are willing to look past a horrendous personality if she is attractive enough.

I have had a friend straight up tell me he is still with someone because they were hot when I asked him if he was bothered by the fact that she treats him like trash. I actually just think this guy gets off to being psychically abused.

I have definitely noticed that a lot of men put up with a woman who treats them horribly but I never understood it. Sadly, it’s rare to find an actual normal couple. If the woman is nice as could be, the man is typically the shitty one. I would struggle to call this a gender issue

If someone stresses me out, consistently and seemingly deliberately, whether they're a man or a woman, I cut them out. We're not even friends, I avoid them if I see them out places.

My long term, multiple year relationships have been with women I've adored who've adored me in return. They were very sweet, kind, attentive, loving and tried to make my life better. And that's exactly what I tried to do for them in return.

Also, being detached is a 100% sure way to make me emotionally disconnect from you.

Being cold toward me, or going from hot to cold, to hot, to cold and so on, or distant is an easy way to make me peace out of our relationship.

I've had friendly interactions with women who would do this sort of thing. Play the hot and cold game. I ended up ignoring those text messages.

I center my life around my partners because they've centered their lives around me, and vise versa. I want a partner, not some silly chase.

I think that many men don't mind a "personality challenge" if the woman is otherwise attractive to them.

The most important thing is that men are having sex with a woman who is attractive to them. The second most important thing is that men are having sex with a man who is attractive to their peers or other men whom they respect. And this is mostly about her having good looks and having a sexy demeanor. Personality is much lower on the list of things that will garner a man's attraction in a woman.

This is wrong simply because it confuses "engagement" with "love/value/enjoyment."

Its basically how Facebook operates. When creating content you "clickbait" the title so that its just a tad bit confusing, fill it with controversial content that induces stress and rage, that compels people to comment and engage, and voila! the views roll in. But just because you get views, doesn't mean people love you or your content. If anyone is obsessed with the content, its only for a short period of time, and not because they love it. The content people truly love, they simply quietly enjoy.

That's what the these girls are trying to do. They don't want men to love them. They want men to engage them. They want men to chase them. This is in direct contrast to what men consider "dream girl".

No. If you see a man with a stressful girl its because hes tolerating it, not that it attracted him. The ONLY thing I can see is maybe a nice girl is not upfront with her interest enough (being nice to everybody, not giving him clear signals or asking him out) and so finish last by not being aggressive enough. The rest is nonsense and is encouraging women to be problematic, and so will go to her content more because no man wants to keep her. Its fishing.

Well, as always it's all based on attraction.

It works for both gender: if you're attractive enough, a bunch of bad behaviour from your part are more tolerated

Those men are probably stressed by attractive women. Like they are attractive enough to be this bitchy and still be selected

But there is also a true fact with men and stress (suspension bridge effect aka misattribution of arousal). But you should respect some rules:

1) You should be there at the end of the stress period (not inside) to avoid an attribution to negative experience

2) If you are the one to provoke it, you should pass it as a problem the guy can solve and the attribution will be positive
