A common criticism directed to men bringing up men's issues is that these men are only doing it to shit on women. I really don't think this thought is unfounded as a noticeable portion of these men are very bad at hiding their misogyny.

But I also think this same criticism applies to some women who bring up women's issues mostly just to hate on men. I think many of these women escape any sort of criticism from their fellow women for their obvious bad faith attempts to highlight women's issues. While I think both sides should root out the bad faith actors in both movements, feminism is without a doubt a more mainstream and accepted movement so their bad faith actors are causing more harm.
