I have seen a common accusation that men who complain about being single are blind to how average/below average they are. They are shooting far above their "league" aiming for stacies only.

the push back I see is folks saying most men dont have insane standards etc. It's a waste of time to argue like that.

Let's assume there are men out there who have inflated standards, they could find a happy relationship if only they gave more avg girls a chance.

But how can someone lower their standards? Isn't it immoral to date someone you think is ugly or unattractive? Are there any concrete suggestions you would give to help these guys start to find more girls attractive? Maybe

1) become friends, spend time with her and focus on her positive traits

2) pay attention to other guys and look in a mirror. Realise how average you are.

3) keep in mind that looks fade, that a person can offer more to a relationship than beauty and physical compatibility.

Any actionable suggestions for these Stacy chasers are welcome. I don't think it's that easy to choose/change who you are attracted to, motivated to pursue, or find sexy.

Would these suggestions also work for women who are refusing to settle and chasing chads? Can this help her become more realistic with what she expects or is your advice gender specific?
