Honestly all power to women who want to go through their man's phone, I'm not trying to pull some "not-like-other-girls" shit, but I never go thru men's phones purely because I don't want them going through mine. I don't have anything to hide but that's my private business and it's just a boundary with me. Like, I don't want you reading my mail, digging thru my bathroom cabinet, or going thru my phone. I do, however, watch carefully how twitchy a man gets when I use his phone to change the music while we're driving, or to look up directions, or anything else like that. The only time I ever felt compelled to check a man's phone was with one particular ex - I didn't actually do it but it was definitely one of many signs that the relationship was unhealthy. For me, if I feel like I need to go looking for something, that's a sign that my gut is telling me I don't trust this man and I need to get out of there, whether I would have "found" something or not.

Even without snooping, if you have a bad feeling, chances are it’s right. It’s also a good idea to dump them when you have a bad feeling because it means you don’t trust them to be telling you the truth. The snooping is your confirmation that they were up to no good but your bad feelings were there warning you in the first place.

I snooped once, and while I didn't find evidence of him cheating, he almost had sex with another man he met on Craigslist. It was before we even met but I was shocked.
