TRP is the only way to hold a marriage together that doesn't involve crying to your therapist and accepting that sex stops at 35. Whether you like it or not, most of TRP comes from married men who succeeded in saving their marriages. You may not like the fact that women are like this, but they are. You can either put on your big boy pants and accept it or you can stay in La La Land to play with the faeries and unicorns.

FDS is the strategy for finding good LTR's for women. Throwing your vag at every handsome man who ogles it for more than a passing moment is a bad strategy. Do some women succeed anyhow? Yes, but most are old. That was a different time. Boomers got 6 figure jobs on hand shakes. I don't suggest that to be your life strategy. Finding a guy who is willing to commit to you while you still have eggs is important. You need to get and raise that commitment as fast as you can while not so fast that you end of with a loser because you didn't vet.

The logic behind the FDS part doesn't really make sense. Beta traits are basically defined as relationship traits while alpha traits are better for STR. You're claiming that relationship traits result in unhealthy relationships.

The only thing I would argue is that TRP is a sexual strategy, and not really meant to be used for LTR's (except married red pill I guess) - But yes they tend to attract women who aren't exactly relationship material

FDS is supposed to be a relationship strategy but sucks ass at the only thing it's supposed to accomplish, so big fail there. TRP selects for women who are sexually interested for sex. They aren't exactly looking for long term partners necessarily. Therefore TRP selects for exactly what they are looking for. They don't care about marriage or marriage material women.

FDS on the other hand believe simpy/whimpy/desperate men are the best for a relationship. After all, they are high investment and highly relationship oriented. It's not up to you to determine if those men are respected by their women, it's up to the men in those relationships to determine if they feel respected or not, and all signs point to yes.

LTRs are not TRP's goal, so it is pretty much irrelevant that it selects women who are not good LTR prospects. So long as the women being selected for are putting out, then TRP is accomplishing its goal.

FDS selects for men who will entirely cede control of the relationship power dynamic to the woman, which indeed boils down to wimps/simps/betas. I don't think FDS women care if the relationship will be healthy or not, so long as they feel like they've sufficiently chained down a man who will financially enable the lifestyle they desire.

So, you're right. Neither selects for healthy LTR prospects, because having a healthy LTR is not the goal of either.

An FDS relationship is healthy for the woman just like a bleeding neck is healthy for a vampire. If she's a vampire, then it's a blessing! Is it healthy for the bleeding unfortunate neck, ie the man? It depends. If the alternative is behind beheaded, then yes. Ie, if the alternative is being depressed and suicidal then the relationship can also be healthy for the man: he has someone to care for, kind of pet therapy.

Is it healthy for "the relationship"? If you mean that the two people are happy then it could be.

I've been in an FDS relationship, it can be fine.

About TRP: I have no clue how you manged to conceive a phrase with both "TRP" and "LTR".

Depends. I can’t speak to FDS as that place just reeks of toxic attitudes from my male perspective.

But I stumbled on TRP when I was trying to just get laid in the clusterfuck of dating after a decade+ of a relationship-turned-failed-marriage. I don’t see how I’m fundamentally unfit for an LTR, and neither did my therapist when I saw her last year. In all fairness, I also don’t buy into a lot of TRP. Improving fitness/career, doing shit that interests me for my own satisfaction, dressing well, and having an abundance mentality - sure, I’m on board. Game/pickup artist related crap, spinning plates, etc - I think it’s bullshit.

There are offshoots of Red Pillers who believe in prioritizing sexual attraction. For those men, I believe that they are weeding out more FDS and sexual repressed women than they are weeding out women who also seek to have relationships founded in mutual sexual attraction. I will also say that men’s love and attraction for a woman is based less in respecting her boundaries than for women, so a man who has a plate that shows that she is relationship material (if he wants one & she meets his criteria of attractiveness), is more likely to still find her attractive for one—as opposed to a woman losing sexual attraction due to a loss of respect from only allowing simps to pursue her.

Now, a man who does not believe in obligatory monogamy may be more likely to stay single or have an open situation (many redpill men I know do have a woman in their rotation they care for), so while many would not recognize or respect his situation as a LTR, he can still be happy with his outcome.

There reason I liked this is because there are men who are also sexually repressed, which is what leads to much of TRP and FDS.

The men who still implement the Madonna-whore strategy haven’t fully understood female nature IMO.

So for those men, I think that what you have to say about TRP is accurate, But the idea of understanding female nature and only pursuing women for LTRs who show high sexual interest up front is a win-win.

If she’s genuine, you have a good foundation; however, if she’s just trying to bait and switch, you’re not over-exerting yourself financially to compensate for it and I’d much rather someone try to manipulate me by giving what I want than by withholding it.

That is my issue with much of both some of TRP & FDS. Devaluing the person to maximize ROI doesn’t end well most of the time, but establishing mutual sexual attraction is always a good idea imo.

If your main criticism of FDS is the waiting for sex bit it is actually factually incorrect to say that waiting won't lead to a healthy LTR or marriage seeing as the exact opposite has been shown to be the case. Delaying sex is actually correlated with greater relationship success and marriage vs sleeping together right away. All things being equal it is generally a good idea to hold off on sex if one is looking for a serious long term relationship or marriage.

TRP generally filters women into "for sex plus LTR" and "for sex only" categories.

At the behest of culture shifts (which many call "liberation") women over the last few generations have themselves have chosen to only develop characteristics that put them in the latter category (i.e. instead of elevating themselves to adopting the best behaviors of the best men, they instead used "equality" as an excuse to act like low-class men with tits-- enter FDS).

In response to this, TRP far more commonly leans towards categoring women in that latter category, which causes those on the outside looking to to see it as a "seeking sex only" philosophy.

This is just wishful thinking because men can't stand against the idea of women having standards and getting everything they want. If a cute guy waits for sex, pays for things and is charming and not abusive, it doesn't turn him unfuckable.

FDS women have failed in the past because they have awful relationship skills as a result of bad parenting. That's the reason they will likely keep making mistakes, not their newfound boundaries.
