Leave everything as it is for now and slowly work on a chain of 5-10-50-100 year plans.

To get started, I would outright ban Woke and PC culture. There are vastly better ways to deal with the problems these ideologies are trying and failing to address.

I would gather every current world leader together and since in this scenario they'll listen, we would plan out to start to work on getting the major countries out of debt so they can effectively work on helping surrounding nations develop, we would set up equivalent plans to convert every nation to nuclear power to up our production capacity and power stability, we'll also put research into solar power for future space development, I would pair this with a plan to protect, preserve and grow the natural environment to reduce pollution and increase air quality, especially around cities. I would also take a lot of the money stupid city councils collect and redirect that into repairing the cities, cleaning them up and repairing roads. I would also want to bring back some traditional architecture to spice things up and actually make cities look appealing based from the nations historic culture.

A real big effort would be placed on reducing world pollution, I absolutely hate the fact we have multiple large garbage patches in the ocean and that many both developed and undeveloped places are just littered with trash.

I would dedicate social programs to helping Men and Boys since there's barely any. (I want to remasculinise men so our new society actually stands a chance, if I have a world of weak men the female population will fall behind very quickly and all out war will erupt because everything would collapse, or we'll go extinct, sorry but female empowerment is not going to be able to surpass nor even replace what importance men have to maintaining and building society.) I would fix the education system and alter it significantly to support people's learning ability and mental health, plus find a way to make learning a societal value and more enjoyable aswell as easily available to adults.

Plus, after the mess PC and Wokeism has made between the genders and races I would create social programs focused on giving people the opportunity to actually experiences getting along with one another, I would base these programs from psychology and not politics. It's gonna take potentially decades of getting people to work together and co-operate but I can fix this these issues. None of this privilege bullshit will be involved and attention will be put on overwriting any engrained beliefs/support for Wokism or PC culture.

Plus I would dedicate social programs to improving health, this fat acceptance movement will die over night, I think the movement is stupid and it's not hard to point out why. Bad health simply leads to a decrease of quality of life and longevity, I will not subject newer generations to that.

I'd fix the legal system, boom now we're all as equally represented as can be, Women will now be punished accordingly to how Man are punished, same prison sentences for same crimes and same treatment ect, but instead of prison as you know it, I would change it to be more humane and more rehabilitating. Although, people who are "proven" to have committed mass murder or they SA a child or something within that range will be put to death, nothing gets you out of it.

"Proven" False Rape allegations will be punished with the same sentences as Rape, Proven meaning with sufficient evidence, so actual victims have nothing to worry about because even if they can't prove it, they won't be punished, but if it's found to be false then you will be punished. The media is barred from reporting on any non high-profile cases, and info about the case will only ever be available to the public after a sentencing. People who are punished on the basis of a false allegation will be reimbursed depending on many different factors...

I Would reorganise the media to focus on more positive stuff to attempt to improve mental health, plus I would erase most modern kids media and replace it with specifically designed education media, based around science, technology, architecture, nature, animals, language/maths, art and so on, we don't need shows about barbie dolls or a bunch of kids fighting kid villians(my little brothers adore pj masks but I think the show is just terrible) my reasoning is I don't want our next generations to be raised by stupidity. This will mean Disney is really gonna have to up its quality.

Since there ain't gonna be no ground wars between large nations, I'd drastically cut world military spending and refocus that on pulling the rest of the world out of poverty. But, a large part of that spending would also be focused on energy development, computing and space development.

I would also open up the pharmaceutical and medicine industries to genetic and bioengineering, let's see what madness we can create, jk, I actually want to advance the rate at which we cure diseases and conditions and I believe genetic engineering is the way go. But it'll be heavily regulated until we know what we're capable of. Paired with this I would promote natural medicine and research into it, we can learn a lot from indigenous tribes from all around the world, I would also try and protect their lands but I already know that due to technological and development many of the tribes will fade out due to many different variables, that's something I can't change.

Essentially I want to, improve longevity and quality of life, preserve our world and its art, spread out throughout the solar system and keep humanity going and growing. The way I see us achieving this is through raising the newer generations to be better than us and not prone to our modern faults, and laying the foundations upon which they'll build upon to do the same, I'll keep capitalism in place until I can get an A.I up to run everything effectively, one that can resolve disputes and keep the wealthy in check.

I still can't see communism or socialism working in this new planet state, capitalism will be kept inplace essentially until we can develop with the help of A.I something better. I don't know what that is but it'll be required to ensure that stability of the whole globe. But one world government is not something I want, but a system where everyone can come together and figure shit out with the help of A.I, A.I is going to be a part of politics in the future and there's nothing we can do about it beside ensuring its good.

Um, yeah I've got a lot more ideas than your average person on this topic, many of which I don't expect people to understand but this is an outline of what I'd do with that power. Eventually I'd have to step down because I'm susceptible to corruption, I know that much about myself aleast.

Edit: this is what I'd do if I was in control of the world, if its only a country then many of my policies still stick, but I'd maintain military spending so I don't get invaded. Many peoples points here are also valid.

Environmental protection policies. Ban one-use plastic products, fast fashion, force companies to optimize their production, stop deforestation etc.
High taxes for the rich.
Free medical care and education (all levels of it).
Access to abortions is considered as a universal right, they're accessible and free.
Funding the development of new contraceptives both for men and women and the research of existing ones.
Funding the research of artificial wombs, eggs and sperm.
Possibly paper abortions that would protect both men and women by giving men a short period of time when they can refuse from their paternal rights. I guess a man also should be legally informed in an appropriate time, so everyone would have time to make their decision.
Stealthing equates to rape.
Equal sentences for men and women.

I would avoid too many legalistic solutions that do more harm than good.

First, inculcate a secular religion. Look for ways to teach the ancient wisdoms that are not grounded in any kind of transcendence that conflicts with science. Obviously, this is a huge experiment as we do not know how critical believing in empirical claims that lacked evidence were to past religions. Still, there are ways to worship certain possibilities of transcendence in a very ambiguous way that do not contradict the scientific requirement to have evidence for empirical claims. But stirring music, the idea of local community, ritual, etc. can still have a lot of power even without supernatural claims.

Second, on the legal side, tighten up laws about sexual display in the public sphere. I would go back to older standards with respect to sexual imagery, but only in public areas. So no bikinis on magazine covers, or the covers are covered up in stores. No advertising with scantily clad people. No billboards like that, etc. Movies and TV etc. would be allowed to do as they wish, but there would be organizations that clearly provide ratings guidance. Basically, I do not want to fully censor things, but I also want to make it easy for people who want to live a life without excessive sexual titillation.

Third, come up with new fashion styles that are comfortable and elegant, but do not show much skin or are too tight. Enforce this style in the workplace legally, and use social mores to culturally enforce it in public. Do the same for all makeup. No makeup at all at work, and it is frowned upon in public. In certain situations, like clubs or private parties, more sexualized clothing may be considered more appropriate.

Fourth, deal with obesity. Ban sugar products legally. Enforce workplaces to provide gyms and showers. Mandate exercise during the workday. Fitness will be a criteria for job advancement and be socially enforced as well. Simply make targeting obesity a national security-level group priority. Here is an area I would be less afraid to use laws and regulation.

Fifth, promote marriage and child bearing. Use tax incentives. Regulations that make it easier for parents (usually mothers) to work part-time and flex-time without overly harming their careers. Do what it takes to get the birthrate to replacement level voluntarily.

no more likes/dislikes on social media: I'd claim it's bad for the health of my citizens when they get those dopamine rushes again and again just because someone liked their picture/video/whatever. It's entirely ok and encouraged to use the comment section though
teenagers will have to sit through a sex and relationship education class. They will likely feel very akward during the entire class and many comic memories will be made in those, but at least they know how to avoid pregnancies, understand their body and their potential partners body a bit better and how love and sex are not the same thing
upscale PE classes to daily exercise and normalise it for the children and teenagers to stay fit. Add some general health and nutrient class.
Pornography has to include little sniplets of asking for consent. I don't care if it happens within the shot or bevore/after but asking consent should be normal
All non-vanilla pornography goes behind a paywall. It doesn't have to be very high but I want teenagers stumbling into porn not find a forced-orgasm-gangbang or whatever on the frontpage. A comitee of 20 and 30 somethings gets to decide every few years what vanilla sex includes
I'm unsure what to do about courtship rituals. While some exist they're not strongly adhered. I think I would want all nude pictures sent remain in possesion of the depicted person and through a little technical magic they can decide if the picture gets deleted even if it is saved on another device
Alsoregular regular STD checkups in the partner-changing crowd should be the norm and conscientous adherence to described STD medicine to avoid further breeding multiresistent STDs

The answer is

NOTHING.

Why

The things evolved like they are as people and society are as they are.

It is developing in waves.

Even if you could do anything you want people will still do whatever they want - open or covert.

Why is tinder successful? Because women are like they are and males are like they are.

Why is mexico and thai as sex resorts successful?

There is 1000 ways you could change things but the outcome would not really change a thing.
