It's been a while, so it might have changed, but every gay strip club I've been in allowed you to at least touch the dancers. Most of them allowed you to briefly touch the dancer's hard dick (dollar wrapped around it, of course... they aren't there for free). Others let you have more extended time. Some have lap dances. I pretty much bathed a dancer in one that was equipped with on-stage shower. In "VIP" areas, I was offered BJs (but declined).

So I have no problem with "objectification". I mean, if you've taken a job as a stripper, and you expect NOT to be sexually objectified, you've made a big mistake somewhere.

But I've never seen the kind of crazy, intrusive behavior that these strippers report goes on with women. I don't think it would be tolerated, either by the staff, or by other patrons who wouldn't take kindly to you treating badly someone they're admiring. And, while it's not a big deal, no screaming. In fact, most of the time, it was the dancer who had to prod the audience into participating, giving them permission.

If you treat a dancer with respect, because they are a human who put a lot of work into their routine and their outfit and their body, they'll be very nice to you. Women apparently don't get this.

Pretty easy to imagine how something like this comes about. There's a long history of female strippers, male customers, and as such there are rules, etiquette, expectations deeply ingrained. As guys, we KNOW not to just assume we can touch, sexually or otherwise, female strippers.

Male strippers, female customers, has a far less substantial history and culture. Women don't tend to know what's appropriate and what's not, so they just go all out. Throw in the "all men want sex all the time" bullshit and you get stuff like this. Probably also throw in the fact that women rarely feel like they can be so completely openly sexual.

Just thought I'd share my experience at an event for high rollers at a casino. The men were in one hall and women(their wives mostly) in another. The men had female strippers performing on a pole. Obviously this is a bit of buying into some men's worst fears and a feast of outrage over whorish women. However it's not all without some merit.

If you're jacked, with a modicum of charisma and with women around at the right time with them being hormonal. You can see similar things happen.

To be fair it's not easy to not want to act on similar impulses with several willing women around you, but you'll be far more castigated for it, even just admitting to it, than for that of a wanton whore's doings. Yet they call all this outrage slut shaming and misogyny, but turn a blind eye to stud shaming and misandry.

Next time you see a story of similar nature, but with men going wild sexually. Take a long hard look. Calls for castration. Psychopath or sociopath. Should be beat up. Should be in prison. Is actually a lot of rape!
