For the movie Boyhood no less. And this is in a theater full of upper class men and women who really don't have a clue how the real world is when it comes to finances and gender issues. I am a huge fan of the movie and I was devastated that she, an actress I admired, would do something like that at an event like this.

Edit: Just so people reading this from this subreddit or other subreddits are clear: she said "We have fought for everybody else's equal rights." One, there was never any equal rights fought for in history by feminists for men in the workplace and two, feminism has a horrible history of supporting upper middle class white women a hell of a lot more than anyone else. So don't give me this crap about, "Her point is legitimate." She is claiming that racism, homophobia, classism, transphobia, and sexism against men is not important, since "We (meaning her, other women like her) have fought for everybody else's equal rights". Bullshit.
