I’m from a town in Australia that always hosts young backpackers from overseas. Even though a lot of male backpackers are very attractive a majority work unstable jobs and live in a van or hostels. It always amazes me how some local women can quickly move in these guys into their homes.

I once had a French backpacker ask me out then he wanted to know if I had a backyard so he could camp there 😂

My cleaning reduced by half when I divorced my ex and I had our two kids living with me one hundred percent. Turns out most of the mess he was blaming on the kids was him including pissing all over the bathroom floor. I also lost all my assets to him so I would never live with a man again after building myself back up. In our country, a live in boyfriend is entitled to your assets after two years of living together.

This, in chat... never, thank God so far, in real life. I've actually had men who were actively looking for a girlfriend because they were about to be homeless. I had no clue what "hobosexual" meant; now I know. From my understanding, a lot of these were military, or gig workers, or men who just kind of bump along the financial bottom, I guess taking temp jobs or whatever, definitely NOT planning ahead. Do not comprehend. I know a huge fear of mine from around teenage years was being a bag lady out on the street. I cannot comprehend chatting up some stranger, then basically asking to move in. I also honestly cannot comprehend not having a life plan past maybe mid-20s at the latest, just la-de-dah, whatever comes along, it's all cool. The mind boggles.

I’m at an age where I’m even leery of men who have never actually owned property and just bounce from rental to rental or own no assets. At my age you’ve been around long enough to figure that out. If their plan is to just sidle in to your life it is a huge red flag. Or if they are still in some entry level job at 40 with no career development that is another big red flag. It’s amazing how entitled and shameless men are coming to a woman presenting themselves with little to nothing to offer a woman (who does have her life together) and genuinely thinking that she would be thrilled to have them as a partner.

He's living back with them and often discussed during our marriage how he'd remodel their house once they passed. What a fucking loser. My most abusive relationship started with him staying with me “temporarily” while he looked for a place of his own after his tenancy came to an end. He actually ended his tenancy early in order to leech off me. And quit his job. Of course I was being love bombed at the time and thought we’d be together forever so the relationship moving so fast wasn’t a bad thing 🤡

My ex treated me like I was doing this to him while I looked for a job, even though I had my own place (paid all my own bills), l did all the errands, all the cleaning, all the cooking... but I wasn't contributing because the only thing that counted was money. Ok, you spend 4-9 hours a day doing all that shit while still paying rent/bills at another place then, with virtually no income, scrote!

Once I was making money he didn't think a 30/70% split was fair (even though he made that much more than me). When he sold his place he didn't think he would have to pay rent at mine! The audacity of rich men is astounding.
