The funny part is you give an ugly man a chance and he thinks to himself “I knew it! I knew I was awesome!” And yet if a woman thinks she’s even slightly beneath the man she’s dating in any way (looks, finances, personality...) she’ll spend the entire time with imposter syndrome. It’s so crazy!!

There are so many “ugly” men in the world because men do not have high physical expectations placed upon them. Women are expected to look appealing (hair done, nails done, natural-looking makeup, skincare, maintaining a “good” figure, etc.) meanwhile we can’t even get these scrotes to bathe or brush their teeth daily.

If more men had better hygiene, worked out somewhat consistently, and put some effort into how they dressed, they would be more attractive physically. Personality-wise, that’s a different story.

Facts!! When I was 24 years old I gave a man that was a year older than me a chance (before fds). He was very overweight, very ugly in his face with some acne and a double chin, and he had a very messy beard and eyebrows. He lived with his mom, didn't have his own car, and worked as a cashier at a grocery store - wasn't in school for anything either and wasn't motivated.

He asked me on a date then he "forgot" all about it. Called him out on it and he ended up telling me he went to see his ex and cleared his schedule so they could hang out more. He started saying he really liked me and wanted to still take me out to the date and reschedule it. The audacity of this guy was seriously through the roof. He ended up getting blocked after I convinced him to send me $50 for the wasted time and him not following through for the date.

I don't think she's even wrong. Sometimes a dude is unattractive on top of being a bad person. Others, a guy is unattractive but behaves himself. I have also seen very attractive guys who are horrible, but still have women flocking to them. I don't care how attractive or unattractive a guy is, ugly behavior and treating women poorly makes an ugly guy.

I have an aversion to OLD now because of this. Cuz when I used to chat with guys, their pic looked okay. Then they either send a more recent pic or I meet them in person and it’s like yikes what happened to you dude.

And I noticed the ones who have some awareness of their limited looks still have an air of conceit about them. They speak passive aggressively like “oh females don’t find me attractive, just because I don’t have this look or that.” And they think they have this mysteriously attractive quality to them that only the ‘enlightened females’ can see.

Then you see them and it’s like, “dude your face is crooked or something, so yeah it isn’t nice to look at and you don’t look like you take personal hygiene and other self-care seriously.”

One of my more blunt girlfriends framed it better for me:

“Imagine waking up next to the guy ... would you look at that face and go ‘awww my sleeping sexy man’ or would you wake up, look over, and then scream cuz you’ve been abducted by aliens.”
